Alright I'll bite. Last time, I swears it. I was gonna do this a little earlier, but then I saw my 6 year old cousin playing DMC3 and well, that was pretty amusing.
Anyways, it's not killing the SC2 community. They're different genres. Is it more popular than SC2? Sure. Mainly because, 1: it's free and 2: it's easier to play. Why does it rake in more viewers than SC2? Because more people play it, they feel that they can relate to it more than they can with SC2.
I've heard that a lot of people say that the $60 entry fee to get into SC2 is a non-factor, but I seriously disagree. Consider the reversed situation: If LoL had a $60 cost, or hell, let's cut that in half to $30, do you honestly think it would ever be as popular as it is today? I doubt it. My favourite part is how people are playing it for "free", and yet they spend hundreds and hundreds of dollars on new heroes and skins. That's just great.

LoL is killing only a part of SC2 community, the part that we don't want. The part that cannot grasp the concept of
