The scientist starts speaking again, but the blood rage had already came upon the Captain. As the scientist begins to say that they shouldn't kill the creatures, the Captain lashes out with a shiny thing in his hand, and the scientist falls to the ground, blood flowing from his throat. He turns back to the screens, and feels the eyes of his team on him.
"WHAT THE !@#$ ARE YOU STARING AT?!?" They all go straight to work, and on camera three, a four-man firebat team enters the facility from the locked zone.
The creatures approach a large door. It has a similar key-pad nearby, and one of them inputs the code, causing the door to open into a large room with another console. They all enter the room, and one of them goes over to the other console and looks at it.
Hit the top glowing button
Hit the bottom glowing button
Going to assume this was a vote for the top button.
Back to the story:
The creature tilts its head, and taps the top button. The floor begins to rise up, and heads towards the ceiling. Some of the other hiss out loud, but the floor stops moving in front of another door. The first creature goes over to the console, and inputs the code. As the door grinds open, a loud roar is heard, and it echoes. They pace out warily, and as they enter a dark room, the lights turn on to another room with another door on the other side.
The creatures glance around, smelling something odd about the room. They turn their attention to the door, which was as big as the door behind them. Some of them look back at the room with the floor that moved. They seemed to be deciding.
The Captain sees the creatures exit the Cargo Elevator, and turns to one of the troops, much calmer than before.
"Where are these pieces of !@#$ at?" He asks, and the person he looked at begins typing something in. After a few seconds, she speaks up.
"Oh, %^-*......Combat testing lab for them and others like them. They are going up against Zerg and Protoss test subjects." The Captain nods, and says "When they go in, lock the doors and let everything into the arena. Lets see how they will do against the worst of the Zerg and the Protoss."
Open the large door
Go back to the moving floor.
The creature looks back at the door, and then to the moving floor. Without a word passing between them, the female creatures back over to the moving floor, along with two of the males. The rest head over to the door, where the little creature quite literally starts climbing up the wall and inputting the code. As the door opens, it jumps down and they all enter the room.
"Do it. And send that Cargo elevator down to the second floor." The Captain says.
"Aye sir. Closing Cargo Door, unleashing all the combat targets, sending the elevator down one floor.."
The creatures turn around, and see the door close behind them-
-and hear other doors open, revealing different and hostile creatures. It sniffs the air, and finds more of the creatures like them, and they regroup, forming a barrier around the creatures with biological cannons, who began to fire around the room, killing the smaller hostile creatures, the creatures with tails and the tall, grey skinned ones. A good deal survived due to being quick enough and having a thick enough carapace. Those that survived closed into combats with the male ones. Something big was approaching from several of the doors, and the creatures were nervous.
"Sir, the Ultralisks and Brutalisks are loose." The Captain smiles to himself, and looks at Camera 5, where the firebat team waited for the elevator to come down to start burning hostiles.
