Sergeant Brad takes a photo of the dead scientist, and turns on his radio.
{Target confirmed KIA, standing by for new orders. Over.} He waits for a bit, then a reply comes.
{Gamma, go to Cargo Bay four, we're going to ambush them there. Out.} He hears, and then he signals for his troops to follow him as they regroup and head to the cargo bay.

Back at the moving floor, the creatures gather, going down once. They sniff the air, and the males rush out to check the remaining rooms for any others of their kind. The other creatures wait at the room next to the moving floor, as they had learned from the first time. The females projected bugs on the injured creatures, and these bugs, in turn, produced a slime which sealed wounds and cleaned them. Moving to the males, they began a sweep and search, working in teams of three to enter every room and clear them out. Often times, nothing would be there for them to rescue or to slow them down. Only two rooms held anything of significance. The first was occupied by a squad of red-skinned creatures again, who were all promptly killed and the tubes opened, revealing two smaller creatures and two more cannon creatures. The second room had a single pod, and no defenses. As the pod was opened, a thin and graceful creature was released, almost invisible to the creatures. It bows its head, and they all head back to the moving floor. They then proceed to the next floor, where there is a large room with several crates to hide behind. To their ears, something was happening on the other side of the door behind the crates.....

The new creature walks over to the door, and types in a key. The door opens slowly and very, very loudly. There is several clicks and various other weapons sounds, and the creature peers around the corner to see what the noise was. At the end of the hallway, there was several red-skinned creatures, with large, grey-skinned beasts with long noses and strange feet. There was also black-skinned creatures with large backs and a few large creatures with strange hands and wings. They all looked very strange to the new creature, and it steps forward, getting closer to them. It was so close it could touch the large, grey creatures with strange hands, or even the grey beasts with long noses. It observed them all, silent and calculating. It waves its hand around one of the black-skinned ones, who turns to where the gust came from, but saw nothing.

The invisible creature regroups in the next room, and without a word passing between them verbally, it tells what all is down in the other room. They listen, and know where every hostile creature and beast and what they were doing down to the stance they were using. Such was the new creature's attention to detail.

Wait and see how the hostile creatures act.

I mean.... You don't know what they do, maybe observe them so you know how to better take them out.

The tube-born creatures relax and wait, their scout keeping an eye on the creatures. If anything, they would be alerted when one of the hostile creatures approached before they even stepped into the next room. Their large guardian laid down, its tendrils hidden away safely in its body. The small creatures ran up and down the walls, finding a way through a ventilation shaft into the next room. They clawed it open, and crawled into the vents.

Shelby Janis was getting impatient. She wanted to go and kill those creatures for killing her squad and her boyfriend. When the door opened, she almost fired into the next room, but held off from doing so. She glares at the Captain, grinding her teeth underneath her visor. She turns her attention back to the next room, and feels the urge to mount a charge into the next room.
