The creatures stand up, stretching their muscles and sharpening their claws. It was time to act, and it was time to kill. The larger creature would lead the way, while the others followed behind it. They gathered up at the boxes close to the entrance, tensing and hissing in anticipation. They still had energy to burn, and this charge would unleash their fury. The smaller creatures picked up on the preparation to attack, and they grouped up in the vents above the hostile creatures. They squeaked and hissed to one another in anticipation.

Shelby shuffles her feet. She had her orders, and her orders told her to wait for the bastard creatures to come to them. The whole team heard various sounds coming from the other room, and they tensed up, getting ready for the imminent charge. They were ready for a straight-up charge and attack.

"Small, the speed will give an advantage. Destroy the long nosed beast first, followed by the red, while keeping out of the strange handed ones projectiles, or at least drawing them to the red skinned ones."

Shelby clicks the safety off her Gauss Cannon, knowing that the moment was almost here and she would have vengeance. She hears something above them, but ignores it for her focus was forward.
Too forward, in fact.
The vent covers drop, and the smaller creatures land among the hostile creatures. The first thing they did was simple: they used their agility. As all the creatures and their beasts turned to engage the small ones, they moved at lightning speed, causing some to kill each other. One of the grey-skinned creatures cries out, and the firing stops as they attempt to get a good shot on the small creatures. As one of the large grey-skinned ones turns to step on the small tube-born creatures, it gets resistance as it tries to put its foot down. Without warning, it is tossed backwards into one of the beasts, and the creatures are sent into confusion.

Captain Gerald curses as his prized Viking is tipped backwards by the little !@#$s running amok his troops. He attempts to right his vehicle, but he can't do it due to the angle it is tipped at. The tank he lands on throws the gears in reverse, but this only makes it worse for the Captain.
{GOD DAMN IT. KILL THOSE LITTLE PIECES OF %^-*.} He yells into the radio.
{Sir, the other creature approach.} He hears in response, and curses again. He holds down the triggers on his Viking, and the Marauders come over to help him up.

The black-skinned creatures moved at a bad time. As soon at they started helping the downed grey-skinned creature, the tube-born creatures went into motion. They charged at full speed, and in a matter of seconds was in the middle of the battle, with their guardian crushing two beasts underneath and a grey-skinned creature. Soon, the killing began in earnest, and in less than a minute, the entire hostile creature pack was overwhelmed. Most were dead, but some were pinned underneath the weight of the male creatures. They struggled, and the grey-skinned creature roars in fury, still unable to get itself up. The first creature to be released looks down upon its prey, and hisses victoriously.

Shelby struggles and curses, pinned down yet again underneath the weight of a creature. Her arm was bleeding, and some of the servos in her suit gave out in the combat that followed her Captain being tipped over. She could almost reach her knife.....

Shelby then felt it would be a useless idea, for they had already overran the team the Captain brought with him in a few seconds. She wouldn't be lucky enough to kill one of them. Just as she was about to accept death, she felt the pressure come off her back, and she, along with the rest of the people still alive, stand up and look around. The creatures had backed off, and waited. They were waiting for the remaining troops of the Dominion to leave. Shelby looked at the one that had pinned her down, one of the melee creatures with a long scar running down its face, all the way to its chest. She glares at it, and her eyes conveyed every bit of hatred and disgust she had for the creature. Her eyes conveyed her promise:
You will all pay. Her eyes said. She turns, and walks away from the creatures, heading to the door outside. The remaining troops, rather reluctantly, followed her from the entrance, and she opens the door.

The tube-born creatures watch the captured creatures walk away, oblivious to the hostile glare one of them gave to the scarred creature. They look around the room, and upon hearing the door open, they all look to the door-
-and see the world outside. They knew they could escape. But where could they go? Where would they be safe? Would they ever be safe?
They knew not, but only time would tell if they thrived or died. They looked at the dead bodies after the captured creatures left. The one creature was still roaring in rage due to being on the ground, and being unable to get up.
