been working on this for atleast a month now.
almost all Starcraft 1 units restored along with their abilities and upgrades (almost)
features the iCCup map Grand Line. (i rotate maps from time to time)

map is still quite unfinished. a few units/abilities/upgrades are still missing. fortunately however these are mostly rarely used units/abilities/upgrades ;)

goddangit, I was just about to do something like this, except with only terran... I'm not entirely sure how the balance of this will be though, seeing as the terran are the only ones who still have every old unit avaliable in the editor. The zerg don't have defilers or their old anti air (I forget what those are called, lol.) or the old flying queens, and the protoss don't have dragoons, reavers, or corsairs.

goddangit, I was just about to do something like this, except with only terran... I'm not entirely sure how the balance of this will be though, seeing as the terran are the only ones who still have every old unit avaliable in the editor. The zerg don't have defilers or their old anti air (I forget what those are called, lol.) or the old flying queens, and the protoss don't have dragoons, reavers, or corsairs.


all those units return in my map, except queen for now.

cloaking bug is a problem with the exporter plugins currently. they dont support particles or something.

AI dont work at all. they do not know how to build the sc1 units or use them and many sc2 units are removed so more often then not they just build marines or zergling/hydras

need to vs people :P

This isn't what people want. It's Broodwar 1.5. Remake Broodwar stat for stat and then you will have accomplished something useful. I'm not saying you cant balance this, but don't fix what aint broken right?

I was doing this up until I found out the annoying issues with sound files.

just played vs the ai...i was expecting it to do nothing...got distracted staring at the dragoon :)(lost)
BTW:do you know where i can get that dragoon model?i know its an imortal edit,but still.
i'm working on something like this,but diffrent,i'd like to know if its ok to use and where to find this model?

If that's what your doing, it wouldnt be Broodwar 1.5. It wouldn't have reapers. It would literally be a copy/paste of broodwar in 3D. I know it's not finished yet but if your going to do this, you might as well do it the right way.

i touched it up a little. he didn't cut off the top half properly and at certain parts of the animation random faces will appear. it's not very noticable however.

my map doesn't have reapers.
my map is literally exactly what you described
a carbon copy 1:1 of brood war on the sc2 engine.

if you are vs'ing AI and they are building reapers then thats your problem. i dont know how to program an AI and blizzards AI doesn't automatically adapt to new units.
play against another player. a friend or something. NOT the AI.
