Log in screen crashes back to launcher

Hello Everyone,

We apologize for the frustration and confusion with the Launcher. A fix is on the way, but for now we've found that the steps below can help. Please note that this fix is only for the Americas - English (US) client.

1) [url="https://us.battle.net/support/en/article/deleting-battlenet-tools-folder-pc?utm_source=internal&utm_medium=support_forums&utm_campaign=BlizzardCS"]Delete the Battle.net folder in C:\ProgramData[/url]
2) [url="https://us.battle.net/account/download/?show=sc2"]Download[/url] and run the online installer (this will not fully reinstall StarCraft II, and will only re-download some data):
StarCraft-II-Setup-enUS.exe
3) Install to the existing StarCraft II location.
C:\Program Files (x86)\StarCraft II
or
C:\Program Files\StarCraft II

This worked for me, thanks, back to the campaign.
Gettin really frustrated with this.. I see the login screen but before i can enter anything it closes and brings me back to the launcher... I was a serious wings player and not sure about this....
To fix this problem you need to re-apply the patch. This is how you trigger it:

Go to C:\ProgramData\Battle.net\Agent right click on agent.db restore to previous version, download 50mb patch and play. If you can't see programdata then type in the "C:\ProgramData\Battle.net\Agent" to the address bar, or display hidden folders.

make sure to select the version that is from the 10th , also need a conformation box that says it was restored successfully, worked for me.
What a pain in the !@# so far.
I have been trying to fix this for 5 hours now. Re installed once. Same issue. Deleted cache files as per posts in 2011 on forums with people playing WOL had the same issue. Still not fixed yet. Repairing also doesn't seem to help.

You have to fix this.
^Reinstalling - now have icuuc44.dll missing issue.
I keep getting that too! How do you fix? Someone help!

Did Not Work.
This is pretty lame..
I was playing HOTS Campaign at about 1:00. Suddenly I disconnected, and saved & shut it off, since Achievements wouldn't be saved. I saw my Internet was still connected So I closed out of SC2 to re-start it. It started fine, so I tried logging in and it failed. Then I saw the "Notes" to the side, that Maintenance was running. So I made an Account on the EU Server, and played 2 games. Tried logging back into N/A Server an hour later, and then when I clicked Login, game crashed to the "Play/Note" Screen Launcher. Clicked Play, it went to the SC2 Login Menu, and Crashed back to the Screen Launcher.

So I waited an hour, retried it, fail. Restarted Computer thinking it was that, still did same thing.
Got off a few hours,
now it's 9:00, and it's still doing this.

Anyone else still having this issue?
Ya it's still happening to me.
is it everyone or just a select few?
still got that issue (trying to play with frFR client on Americas region)
