Maybe, but the HotS ending still leaves things open. Blizzard only said their relationship will conclude before LotV, they didn't say it had to conclude by HotS. i somehow dont see that happening, yes we saw background on when raynor was first married he lost a son and his wife, i doubt he will move on after kerrigan, especially after all they've gone through. And kerrigan i dont see her letting go of Raynor either anytime soon, shes still gonna need him in some way. |
Maybe, but the HotS ending still leaves things open. Blizzard only said their relationship will conclude before LotV, they didn't say it had to conclude by HotS. If you had read Flashpoint, you would have known how much the two of them had really grown prior to Kerrigan's capture by the Zerg on Tarsonis. The fact that Raynor fought alongside Kerrigan in the last HotS mission proves he still believes in her, that she'll do the right thing in the end. |

Ever since the leaked ending came out I always felt that Sarah and Jim would never be together in the end. The end of HOTS seems to show that both Jim and Sarah have come to terms with that fact. Also if you go by the leaked ending where Sarah talks about showing the Zerg "the way", obviously it implies she chooses to stay with them. Though this scene didn't make the final cinematic scene, you have to figure that they're still following the original plot since the leaked ending was 100% real.
But there is a glimmer of hope that maybe Kerrigan will be turned human again and be with Jim, as there was some very obvious foreshadowing of Zagara being groomed to take control of the Zerg. I think its more likely that Sarah dies in the end for that to happen, but you never know. |

The trilogy isn't over yet, and yes, Kerrigan DID hint for Zagara to take control of the swarm. Given that convo it seems that one way or another Kerrigan already knows she'll give up that position eventually. |
Question: cant Raynor use the artifact to turn Kerrigan a human again? Well, for that to even work, we need to know what happened to the artifact. Remember, Kerrigan DID make the throne room explode... |
Question: cant Raynor use the artifact to turn Kerrigan a human again? hmmm not only that, would it affect her again is the question, we saw it hurt her like hell although mengsk was obviously a smug idiot who didnt let it charge like raynor did but hey i guess we will see. still hoping for them to be together by the end of this trilogy in some way |
yeah i read flashpoint, i enjoyed it, it even shows some points in the game as well. |

I didn't get that at all. IMO she left because she needed to prepare to fight Amon and knew she probably wouldn't survive. |

****SPOILER****
Kerrigan's got Stukov as an infested happy time buddy until she decides to go Terran again and be with Raynor. No but seriously I'm stoked that they brought back Stukov. (profile avatar) |

or the more likely scenario is that they are foreshadowing kerrigan's death in Lov. She is very fatalistic at the end in her conversations and the battle of korhal. She very much expects/wants to go down at some point and prepares for it. I didn't get that at all. IMO she left because she needed to prepare to fight Amon and knew she probably wouldn't survive. Yeb. Fans of kerrigan better start protesting that ending since blizzard is heavily hinting in that direction with HOTS. |
My ultimate hope is that after Amon is dead Sarah will hand the Swarm over to Zegara and willingly revert back to human (through another Xel'Naga artifact or some other means). But then I'm a sucker for love stories with happy endings :) This is a high possibility since Blizzard now is adopting happy endings to all their games |

Hope you're right. I have played far too many games lately with depressing endings. I loved WoL not only for the gameplay but because of what I thought was a great feel-good ending. I'd like to see LotV have a happy ending for Jim & Sarah. Hope Blizzard doesn't go the depressing route...

Except the prison break scene, that one was just too heartbreaking to Kerrigan. |

We all know Raynor and Kerrigan will both be back in LotV anyway, so something still has to happen between them in there... Chris Metzen said it himself that if you strip away all the layers in the SC universe, at the end of the day it still boils down to a love story between them. |
you mean the part that narud showed his true colors at prometheus? cos yeah i wouldve been pissed too. although i loved the entire part of deadmans port, especially when Jim yells at Narud for ruining his miracle working lol |
