Congratulations! You have been accepted into the Eagle Souls. A mercenary group that will do whatever it takes to get the job done. You are currently getting transported to the Roost, the space station in which the Eagle Souls operate out of. Oh, and don’t worry about death. We have all your funeral expenses covered, no matter what happens, even if your body is consumed by Zerg and used to feed their creep.

The Eagle Souls are split up into five unit categories. They are:
The Phantoms:
Phantoms are the group dedicated to stealth, assassinating, and sabotaging. They are swift and deadly, but their armor greatly lacks protection, making them extremely frail. Their suits are outfitted with cloaking devices that are so sensitive to Psionics that their low level of it (PI 3-5) can allow them to cloak. However this technology is in a prototype stage (even though there are tens of them), so their benefits will not last long. But the cloaking device is only used in desperate situations, as Phantoms are hard to see when they are in the darkness. As well as the fact that they are extremely flexible, so they can hang from the roof where no one will expect them. The Phantoms are no laughing matter; unless they fail. Then laugh your @ss off at their expense.

Starting Ability: Quick Cloak

The Scavengers:
Scavengers are the grunts, er, primary assault force of the Eagle Souls. Their armor is medium strength, allowing them to take blows, while not sacrificing a lot of speed. These gr- um, I mean these guys are armed with weapons of mass destruction, if you think capable of killing a Zergling with a few shots qualifies for mass destruction. And this, my friend, is a Scavenger.
Starting Gear Available: L-52 Assault Rifle, O-23 Carbine, M-19 Machine Pistol, P-09 Semi-Automatic Pistol, Fragmentation Grenades, Incendiary Grenades.
Starting Ability: Healing Unit Mk. 1

The Predators:
Predators are like snapping turtles. Slow as hell, heavily armored, and can deliver a good blow. They are in essence, walking tanks, except these tanks are much slower, a little less armored, and deal less damage per blow. Predators are used both as heavy support and meat shields; or should I say steel shields? However, they can deal heavy blows to everything, be it man, machine, or some twisted man machine hybrid. Not to mention Xenospecies, except for little fast ones. Those things are big annoyances. To summarize, Predators have given up all hope of speed (like turtles) for protection (like turtles), and heavy guns (not like turtles).
Starting Gear Available: JR-7 Grenade Launcher, Q-5 Cannon, Simple Power Gauntlets, Simple Claw Gauntlets, Incendinary Round, Volt Round
Starting Ability: Run Augmentation

The Parents:
Ah, we all have ‘em, except orphans. Parents, those annoying people who took care of you as a child, and still care much for you now. Well now imagine them with weapons and a medical pack. And now remove the fact that you know who they are. Parents are combat medics who make sure everyone is alive, and if they are dying, making the passing less painful, but by far longer. You still like them? Well, suck it up butter cup. ‘Cause these guys are your best chance at survival. They will take care of you like parents and make sure you don’t die on the battlefield, unless they hate you or have to retreat due to Zerg finding you tasty. In the sense of combat prowess, Parents are the worst choice, but their healing units and shields balance that out. However, they are still quite vulnerable to all attacks. So you better cover their @sses so they can save yours, or you can leave them in the open and have them laugh at you as you are dying.
Starting Gear Available: L-2 Plasma Pistol, P-09 Semi-Auto Pistol, Simplistic Energy Shield, Simplistic Neo-Steel Shield, Net Gun, Flare Gun
Starting Ability: Medical Laser Mk. 1

The Nests:
Nests are our good friends who are tech savvies. They build all sorts of things, doesn’t mean they are all that strong though. They wear large cumbersome armor to have the ability to build and deploy their machines on the battlefield. Their weaponry isn’t all that great and require their machines to fight for them, but they are good for having as support as they also know how machines work and where to hit them. But most are wooses, so they will tell you to do so.
Starting Gear Available: SR-1 Shotgun, B-7 Pulse Rifle, Grapple Claw, Rotary Blades, EMP Grenade, Volt Grenade
Starting Ability: Deploy XR-0 Sentry Turret

Gear shop:
Here you purchase new gear. This is the only way to gather new gear. Currently the starter equipment is displayed to give knowledge, after the initial sign-up they shall be deleted. It can only be gained by credits.

Available Rifles:

R-1 Operations Rifle Mk. 2:
A silenced rifle that is ideal for assassinations. It fires powerful rounds over medium-long distances. It is capable of piercing through lighter armor with ease. It is not the fastest gun in the world, but it is quite powerful for its class of gun.
Only available as starting weapon for Phantom

T-8 Sniper Rifle:
A fairly loud weapon, as it fires off a spike at high speeds. It is able to pierce through the weaker parts of the Marauder and Roach armor, and can go straight through one Marine or two Zerglings. It has an extremely slow fire rate.
Only available as starting weapon for Phantoms

L-52 Assault Rifle:

A magazine fed automatic assault rifle. It is a medium range weapon and is considered one of the easiest guns to operate. It lacks strengths or weaknesses, and will always be ready for a fight.
Only available as a starter weapon for Scavengers

O-23 Carbine:
A semi-automatic rifle that is accurate and capable of piercing lighter armor better than the L-52. It has lost its firing rate and size of magazine for this power. It is also rather easy to operate. This is a medium to somewhat long range weapon.
Only available as a starter weapon for Scavengers

B-7 Pulse Rifle :
An energy weapon is made to deal with heavy targets. However, it takes a while to recharge its powerful shot, and a shot that is not the most accurate. It is painstakingly hard to operate. It is a medium range weapon.
Only available as a starter weapon for Nests

Shotguns:

SR-1 Shotgun:
It is a shotgun with heavy recoil that can tear through light armor. It has a scatter shot, making it ideal for grouped enemies. It is slow to reload and does not store many shots, however, it has relatively quick pump action. It is a very short ranged weapon.
Only available as a starter weapon for Nests

Pistols:

P-09 Semi-Automatic Pistol:
This pistol has a small clip and easy to reload clip, with a fast fire rate. However, this pistol does not deal very much damage to targets, but it is extremely maneuverable. It is a short ranged weapon.
Only available as a starter weapon for Parents and Scavengers

L-2 Plasma Pistol:
This pistol fires a ball of hot plasma. They are very slow to reheat after this, like many simplistic energy weapons. The pistol is effective against armored targets like Roaches and Marauders, but still does not deal much damage to even them. It is a short ranged weapon.
Only available as a starter weapon for Parents

M-19 Automatic Pistol:
The pistol has a large clip that is somewhat hard to reload, but its fire rate is extreme, much faster than many assault rifles. It has no targets that it is effective against, but is nice to have around for swarms. It is a short ranged weapon.
Only available as a starter weapon for Scavengers

Grenade Launchers/Cannons/Rocket Launchers:

Jr-7 Grenade Launcher:
A shot that will rarely deal splash damage, as most of its damage is inflicted within the target. Its tip is spiked allowing for it to stick into the opposition before exploding. It is difficult to reload, but is capable of holding two shots at a time.
Only available as a starter weapon for Predators

Q-5 Cannon:
The Q-5 Cannon, like all of them, has a round producing station built into them, so reloading is unneeded. The Q-5 Cannon takes a long time to recover, but deals splash damage, but not particularly powerful.
Only available as a starter weapon for Predators

Gauntlets/Claws:

Power Gauntlets:
They are charged gauntlets that when used to punch will give off small shocks to surrounding enemies. However, due to the bulkiness of suits, they are slow to recover.
Only available as starter gear for Predators

Claw Gauntlets:
Claw Gauntlets are equipped with claws that will slice through most surfaces. They are able to be used in a cleaving motion to get in as many strikes as possible. But due to the suits they are used on, they are slow to recover.
Only available as starter gear for Predators

Grapple Claw:
Grapple claws are connected to a cord, allowing them to be fired and stabbed into enemies, or just grab them and bring them close. However the winch and firing mechanism use a battery that is slow to recharge. Though it is also capable of just stabbing with in melee combat range.
Only available as starter gear for Nests

Rotary Claw:
The Rotary Claw, well, rotates and will slice through targets that way. Its rotation stops quickly as its battery is not large and takes a few seconds to charge back up. Though if used properly in the small time allowed it can tear through a good group of swarming enemies.
Only available as starter gear for Nests

Shields:

J-2 Energy Shield:
J-2 energy shields are capable of absorbing almost any hit completely, but are quick to fail after a certain amount of damage has been sustained. They will recharge, but take an awful amount of time.
Only available as starter gear for Parents

KL Neo-Steel Shield:

KL Neo-Steel Shields can take a fair amount of damage without being damaged, but do not absorb hits to the fullest, causing the wielder to also sustain damage when used.
Only available as starter gear for Parents

Other Gear:

Net Gun:
A gun that fires, well, nets. These nets are used to entangle foes the cords are made of very fine steel, normal steel, so they are easy to cut through, but will definitely slow down enemies, especially those without cutting weapons, or walkers like Stalkers and Goliaths.
Only available as starter gear for Parents

Flare Gun:
Flare guns are useful in dark tunnels, as they can be used to light up far down, and are also useful for targeting an enemy on HUDs.
Only available as starter gear for Parents

The Armory:
Here all of your equipment is displayed. You may only equip one piece of gear for each equipment slot.

Eagle Soul Background (not required to be read):
The Eagle Soul’s founding goes back to before the Great War. These early merc’s would take almost anyone as long as they weren’t from the Confederacy. They did many jobs including the destruction of a Confederate Battlecruiser, sending in their very first Phantom to do so. This Phantom was able to infiltrate the Battlecruiser, set up charges on the reactor’s coolers, and escape; all in twenty-four hours without any cloaking.

Another mission undertaken was to take down a Kel-Morian mining operation from the Confederacy. This was done by a few of their Predators, tearing through the defenses of the low weapon and armor capabilities of the Kel-Morians. They had this done quickly and were paid very generously.

However, their recruiting became stricter after a betrayal. A group of Phantom’s were sent to take down a Umojan colony, so the Kel-Morians could move in, but found the Umojan’s waiting and the Phantom’s were killed. Soon the result was traced back to an Umojan who had joined and informed the Umojan Protectorate of every job the Eagle Soul’s received. After this the Eagle Soul’s expelled everyone who had any military connections to governments, and only took in recruits with no prior fighting experience. This also produced stronger mercs as they had hard fighting experience without any training other than how to use a gun.

Layout of ‘The Roost’:
Section A: Landing Bay, Residence
Section B: Training Area, Armory, Gear Shop
Section C: Research Lab, Mission Control

Rules of Roleplay:
-You may only gain new equipment through the Gear Shop and spending credits, or missions.
-Same goes with abilities as above, except with Research.
-You can only gain credits through missions
-No custom classes or weapons
-You cannot be an elite fighter and start pulling bullsh!t of you avoiding situations of extreme injury (i.e. if you pushed right up to a Zealot to stab them or shoot them point blank, or even within five meters, you will be critically injured, as I do not kill characters unless the bullsh!t level gets too high)

You will start out in a shuttle heading to a space station called ‘The Roost’ which is the home of the Eagle Soul mercenaries. When you arrive you will be given the items you would have requested for as a choice. I will RP the NPC mercenaries and the top five mercenaries, which would be the leaders. They will give you missions. Every now and again I will give control of an evil NPC to one of the RPers to use, but not often.

In the end, they didn't allow her to join the Eagle Souls when she asked, so one night she ran off, and now here she finds herself.

Seeing nothing to loose as he had no family to speak of, he agreed.

Tonya's mother spent the last of their money so Tonya could get a good education under the condition she couldn't use it to become a pilot. Tonya hesitantly accepted and decided to become a medic instead, because she still wanted to be near the battle helping soldiers. A recruiter approached her fresh out of collage and she accepted hastily as her other options were limited.

From time to time she would visit the gym to work out or do a tiny practice boxing match. Lyn almost never boxed and when she did 90% of the time she lost. She was recruited for her abilities with machines and computers. Lyn was approached by a recruiter while job searching in a cafe near the college she had just graduated from, she accepted wanting to rebel against what her parents wanted her to do even though she never really had a strong tie with her parents in the first place.

Backstory: Francis Alexander Jackson was the son of wealthy businesspeople who were shot as the result of a political scandal where they were accused of plotting to overthrow Mengsk. He was thirteen when this happened, and with no other relations, was forced to live on the streets of Korhal. Now, something like this would normally harden another person, but Jackson (as the other orphans called him) was not like that at all. As if to counteract the cruelty of the Dominion, he became the caretaker and confidant of the orphans of Korhal, mending cuts, setting broken arms, and occasionally giving a reassuring hug and listening to their problems. He had been doing this for seven years when the recruiter came up to him and offered a position as a mercenary. He accepted for two reasons: to raise money for the orphanage he was planning to make, and to finally, hopefully take revenge on the Dominion...

Backstory: Natalie grew up orphaned in the slums of Deadman's Port, and in order to survive, she became cunning, rather then bold, quick, rather then strong. Only one man ever tried to take advantage of her when she was younger. That man is still lying in the gutter where Natalie left him. Eventually escaping the ghettos, of Deadman's Port, Natalie was caught infiltrating a top security Dominion bank, in the process of making off with over 200,000 credits. She then spent a few weeks in prison, until being busted out of the prison by some Eagle Souls members. The members gave her a choice: Enlist or rot in a Dominion jail cell. Naturally she chose the former.

Backstory. Daniel or Dan as he liked to go by, left college becuase he could never fit in even though his grades were always high. He spent most of his time working in electrical egnineering outside of school. One day he witnessed a group of killed on Mar Sara before he could stop the attackers a recuiter stoped him and most likly saved his life. Dan went to work with the Eagles after that moment. Without a family he no longer caried about life and started working in the frontlines and found a love for heavy armor.
