The simulation starts placing both of the students outside of a military compound.
Marines can be seen patrolling inside with a few bunkers in place. A sign states that there were spidermines in area as well.

I look around, memorizing the outer area, and move closer to the wall, not intending to be caught in the open with marines that have gauss rifles. And so it begins...

I quickly scan the area memorizing what I can before I head for a wall. I draw one of my knives. So ... this will be interesting and I wonder what spider mines are.

Flaring the aura a moment, I flash step onto the wall and look down. I needed something to tell me where the mines were before trying to move on.

I get to the top of the wall using my proto-tool's grapling hook. I survey the area noting the routes the guards were patrolling and a couple bunkers. I still didn't know what or where the spider mines are.

I notice a pattern of the wall nearby and note that there must be mines on the far side. "Meaning," I mutter to myself, "there are mines on either side. That can't be all of them though."

A spider mine pop out of the ground and begins to scuttle towards Serenity drawing the attention of the nearby marines and those in bunker. They begin to fire at Serenity as she hurries towards cover.

Hearing the gunfire in the distance, I chuckle to myself. "Already got spotted. Smooth. Makes my job easier though." I move along the wall, even with a spider mine and wait, watching for some indication of her.
