[Zombie Extreme] - TPS Zombie Survival (OT)

I am pleased to announce the release of my first third-person shooting map called "ZombieXtreme". It is a horror/survival type custom map. The gameplay consists of surviving and escaping from a swarm of enemies with more than 20 weapons available around the map and can be played up to 4 co-op players.



Story: A group of survivors from the last battle ended up lost in the woods but found a deserted terran supply base in the middle of nowhere. They where relieved, but not for long. The discovery turned out to be a nesting ground of hell, and what else they didn't know is that they were being followed by an unknown force. There is a slight hope, it's up to you to find out and if not, this maybe your dead end.

Improvements:

The map level has been boosted, this means difficulty has been increased.

Level 3 works like level 8, or level 6 works like level 12.

This will eliminate boredom.



If needed, just let me know if the game is too hard or impossible to win. Due to this tweak, the game may become imbalanced. If this is the case, I will decrease the price of power generator to the point where it is balance. Goodluck!



Latest Updates:

-Reduced overall lag

-All weapon ranges increased

-You will never lose money when getting hit or die

-Increased weapon price

-Auto-turret price increased from 500 to 750

-Increased drop items (HP, Ammo, etc.) time elapsed by 50%

-Power generator price at 6000

Progress Report #5

The Last Swarm is just about almost released. Updates to the game are:

1. To buy charges for the ship, it will cost 8000$.

2. Turrets will cost 300$ to use.

I have been almost with Jerberson12, since the beginning, and this game is really turning out well. Last gaming session was a pleasant one, where I played actually like a pro. Key things to the game are to stay with you buddies,and never seperate from them, or you WILL pay the consequences of dying, and losing half your money, which is punishing when you have almost 5000$. This game will become popular at this rate. If anybody would like to make donations to Jerberson12, it would be nice, because I believe this game deserves some nice, creepy music, which costs 50$ just to put a single song in your game! Other than that, the game works by either you suffer a fast loss, or handle a miserable, long path to victory. If you are truly pro at third/first person shooters, and love working as a team with other players, this is the game for you.

I'd like to make a suggestion. I think the game is ridiculousy fun, but the fact that you lose minerals just for being hit seems to drag the map down a bit. I think it would be better if you only lost minerals when you died.
Oh, and what exactly do the eggs do? Whenever I kill them my screen just gets darker.

OK I will look on that, seems a lot of people complain about the map being so hard.

The eggs does nothing except making the environment dark. But when you pass a certain level, if you kill an egg, will spawn Kerrigan and it's hard to kill her.

I am hoping players will post suggestions to make this map improve. Difficulties, gameplay, controls, whatever you can think of, and thank you for those who already played and had lots of fun.

Not to include that it doesn shoot without target, this map is ridiculously fun. The gameplay is so challenging, I got hooked up by this map. I like the theme, its horrific well done :)

out of curiosity, have you fixed the thing with the guns causing your character to move and such? Cause if so, I am in.

you mean the out of range target?
Not yet, its normal since the target is out of range, your unit will move closer inorder to shoot.

If you want me to do something about it, what would you like?

-If the target is out of range, basically it will not shoot and dont move closer, or
-make all guns have unlimited range so that it can shoot even the farthest enemy

I would not prefer the second one since I really like gun ranges. It's not good if you can pump shotgun in long range.

PS about the sunrise and sunset thing. I'll probably think about that later, since I am fixing stuff that are more important like shooting and controls. TY

Yo Yo Yo! Hey there Redhorze i have been searching for this game when the beta came out (but never got the beta) Anyways I am a huge fan of this map, i play it almost every single day. And while i was play game my and my party were thinking of some stuff to make it better (easier)
The Game is amazing but i have never beaten it; we got to 80% energy in the ship but died...
Well we suggested that we can buy health packs in stead of kill those pink bubble thingy's to get them (cost: 500 to 750 - Heal 25) Allow us to keep our minerals but lose our weapons [ the whole you lose everything is pissing us off x3 ] Buy ammo ( Cost: 600 - 900 your choice)
An inventory bag [the button thing is nice but i'd prefer a inventory bag, With the inventory bag allow not to only have spider mines but grenades ( 3 - 5) also increase the spider mines amount. Give us some special abilities as well; the whole blink thing doesn't seem cool for a 3rd person shooter, Stun ability will help a lot, Force field, hallucination for decoy, and that's it.
I hope you took the time to read this comment and reply also make some changes into the game
With all this being said you can increase the price of the generator cost and all the ammo and health will be at the ship.

I am glad to say that a new major update has been released.
The overall lag has been reduced. Please let me know how the game goes with this one.

The goal for this update is to make the game more easier and less frustrating. I have fixed one stuff that give players a headache. You will no longer lose money when getting hit or die. To make the game balance, I also decided to increase the weapon prices. Also, check the other updates above.
