Units

Larva

The creatures most similar to the original Zerg insectoids are the Zerg Larvae. Each Larva contains within it the genetic makeup of every other Zerg strain available to the Hive. A young Hive will have only the genetic codes for the most basic of Zerg strains, such as the Drone, but as the Hive grows and develops new structures, the Larvae can expand its library of genetic strains. With a command from the Overlords, Larvae will enter a pupal state and begin the metamorphosis into whichever strains the Hive requires.

Saying it shouldn't have ten armor is ridiculous. It only has 25 hp that be like me saying barracks are op because they have a few hundred hp.

10 armor only because so reapers can not just go jumping in and kill all of your larvee leaving zerg cripled for the entire game

Fine, I will do it.
Larvae in real life is heavily protected by some things until they hatch, thats why bugs die from boiling but their larvae doesnt.

Happy?

I'LL answer the general question... why larva have 10 armor, its simple, i'll gave you a little exercice, take an ak-47, go out and try to kill a single ant... Then you'll understand what marine feel when they need to kill larvae... I know marine could just jump on them... but i guess rine armor is to heavy... so they could walk on them... NEVER WALK ON A LARVAE! You have no idea what is inside...

Btw. This unit is the entire reason that the zerg have purity of essence. Everything come from one unit. And if they are not a unit, what should they be? Also, this unit needs to be nerfed.

zerg dont die of age becouse the cells just keep reprodusing in the organs

@ryan: no the DNA refreshes itself. humans also reproduce cells in our own body too. we die of old age because of our DNA "time bomb"

@Templarfreak: we are talking about death of old age not guass rifles. plus u got your facts messed up. zerg dosent have a life span, they never age and larvee dies by defalt because there is no creep to sustain it or there is too much larvee on the hatchery that there is not enough food for all of them. buildings also slowly die only because it got no creep for norishment. not because of old age.

I once tossed a yamato at an egg in SC1. The egg lived.
Not sure if it will survive in SC2
