In order to add funds to your Battle.net Balance, log in to Battle.net.
After logging in, click the Account button in the upper right hand corner of the page to access the main Account Summary page. The account's Battle.net Balance is listed just under the search bar. Click Balance to view the available options and select Add Funds.
On this screen, select an amount to add to your Battle.net Balance. Please note that the total amount of a Battle.net Balance cannot exceed $250.00 USD at any time.
Funds may be added in increments of $10.00, $20.00, $50.00 or $100.00. It is also possible to add other amounts by selecting Other Amount and manually entering the dollar amount. After selecting the amount to add, select Continue to Payment.
On the Purchasing screen, review the amount as well as any applicable taxes before completing the purchase. This screen also notes the region to which the funds are added.
Select the Credit Card type and be sure to enter the card's information exactly as it appears. A prepaid debit/credit card or a gift card must be registered with the cardholder's billing address and information before it may be used. A prepaid card may not be accepted by our payment system without a verified address.
Note: If you attempt to use a prepaid credit card and it is declined, the card may be subject to a $1.00 temporary hold of funds for each transaction attempt. These temporary funds are usually released by the credit card issuer within one business week. For more information on any funds held, please contact the card issuer directly.
Once the billing information has been entered for the chosen method of payment, be sure to read the Terms of Sale and check the box to accept the terms before proceeding.
Once the purchase is complete, the message Balance Chargeup Submitted will appear. After the chargeup has been processed, the balance will be viewable in the upper right. The funds in the Battle.net Balance can be used to make purchases through Battle.net (including digital games and character services) and, on release, the Diablo III Auction House.
In order to complete a purchase using the Battle.net Balance, choose Balance from the dropdown menu on the Purchasing screen.
Note: All purchases are subject to applicable state and local taxes.
Accept the Terms of Sale and select Pay Now to complete the purchase. Once the purchase is complete, install the game as usual. If a character service is purchased, it will process as normal.
Prior purchases, including the addition of Battle.net Balance funds, can be reviewed by selecting Transaction History from the Battle.net Account Summary page.
