Out-of-date drivers can cause a wide variety of issues, and are one of the first things to check when a game is having issues. The instructions below will help you check and update your drivers.

  • Even new computers can have out-of-date drivers, since updates are released routinely -- sometimes as often as every month.
  • Some games and programs might run fine on a system with old drivers, but this can still create  technical issues with specific games or programs.
