Opening Ports for the Blizzard Downloader on the Macintosh 10.5 Leopard Firewall

  1. Open the Apple Menu
  2. Click System Preferences
  3. In the System Preferences window, click on Security

     
  4. Click on the Firewall tab. Click Set access for specific services and applications. Click the + (plus) sign.
  5. Navigate to the World of Warcraft folder and select the World of Warcraft application file. Click Add.
  6. Make sure World of Warcraft is set to Allow incoming connections.


Congratulations! Your firewall should now allow traffic for proper World of Warcraft and Blizzard Downloader operation.
