The Diablo III demo for PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360 does not require a Blizzard account account to play. You will need a basic PlayStation Network account or an Xbox LIVE account, both of which can be created online for free.
Basics
Download the demo directly to your console from the PlayStation Store or Xbox LIVE Marketplace, or remotely from the PlayStation Network or Xbox LIVE websites. If you install remotely, the Diablo III demo will download the next time you log in.
Note: When you upgrade to the full version, your hero, quest progress, and items remain intact.
Details
- Players can only play with other demo players up to level nine, and fight the Skeleton King.
- Some content—including Brawling, Trophies (PlayStation 3), and Achievements (Xbox 360)—has been disabled in the demo.
