Cataclysm Paid Faction and Race Changes

With two new playable races just on the horizon, many players have been asking when they'll be able to convert their existing characters into goblins or worgen. Paid faction and race changes will be available immediately once Cataclysm is released. Realm First achievements for leveling any class to 85 will be available in Cataclysm. However there will be no Realm First achievements associated with leveling characters of a specific race.

There will be a slight change to the way paid services work for goblins and worgen. Goblin and worgen characters wishing to change race or faction cannot be in Kezan, Lost Isles or Gilneas; they must be elsewhere to initiate the process. There are no restrictions on race/faction change to goblin or worgen.

Guys i paid for the char race change about an hour ago, but nothing changed and they haven't made me choose my race change, is there a time wait until it processes or? please answer

@Killers: You will not lose any mounts other than your tauren mounts. The mounts that you earned, bought, or found by any other means than your natural racial heritage of reputation will remain the same

this is like$20 too much. i could understand 5 for race change, and let that be across faction. is pride in a videogame that important that it is increased dollars? i already pay 15 dollars a month plus the money for expacs

Man i want to go to alliance right now but $30 i really think its too much, Blizz i think you should lower the price not 25% but do it to $15-20 because $30 its too much and just look at my gear guys I want to go Alliance so bad T_T but it cost a lot and Blizzard if you read my comment please lower the price down $15-20.

When a person pays to Faction change, two distinct things happen..
One: If your already on the Horde side, you will be switched to the Alliance side, and visa versa obviously.
Two: You will have to choose what Race you will be in the new faction your switching to.
Three: (the hidden challenge): If your too stupid to understand whats being said here, quit the game.

A race change. Since Orcs and Belfs Are both Horde, you don't have to purchase a faction change to transfer between those 2 races.

It sure is nice to have the option to change. Even if it cost real $$ I just wish it wasn't so costly, Blizzard is already taking a lot of my money each month.

Yes, but for faction change, race change is if you want to change the race of your character on the same faction an example is a tauren to a troll, Faction is for changing factions like Tauren to Night Elf or a Undead to a Gnome
