i hate contests like this cause because people who should win never do like Mario for the ad and archangel565 for the video, the winning ones have good art and what not but they arent funny not really catching

@Fulnar: I totally agree with you. When i read your comment, i checked those peoples videos out first. And then i continued to watched the rest of them. I didn't laugh once. The only time i laughed was at Archangel565's video. Props to Him. It's sad he didn't win.

I'm confused. The Print Ad Grand winner has ~100 votes less than the print ad that I voted for (Mario). How did these winners get chosen, did Blizzard just choose what they liked the best, regardless of how we voted? Personally, I don't like the winner of the Print Ad. While the Deathwing Wants You does have good art, the concept doesn't even give me a mental chuckle, its a "meh" at best. At least the Mario made me LOL, and apparently 1800+ others liked it too.

When do we get the wallpaper of the Sayge image above? That's got to be among the greatest pieces of artwork I've seen here. Please include the top of his neck so the casual passer-by isn't like, "What a creepy werewolf."
Then I have to be like, "It's SAYGE. He's not a werewolf, he's a GNOLL!" I'd have to bust out mad red shirt guy on him.

Wallpaper of Sayge, pls.
SRSLY.

It'd be nice for contests like these if Blizzard developed a "Judge's Choice" category or something, so we could see what Blizzard thinks of the videos as well.

First to Zeego sorry you didn't make the first cut. Second as for the voting if you read the rules the final decision was Blizzard's. Read the rules before posting please.

(And no I'm not the real Snackey or Jun. But I did place in the video contest "Alliance Recruitment PSA")

Grats to everyone that placed.

this contest was a joke, so many entries that never got represented, and zero response from blizz on the forums or via email:

Waaaaaaay more entries than I thought there would be. I really wanted to give up before viewing all of them and voting, but that wouldn't have been very fair to the ones I hadn't happened to come across yet.

I'm glad Blizzard changed the method used to display the entries from their Starcraft propaganda contest. In this contest, they're displayed totally at random, while in that one, they were displayed in chronological order, with the earliest entries at the end. They would start you on a random page, but with a majority of the votes being in the first 5 pages it was clear most people just manually went straight to the first page and then gave up after a few. This contest was much more fair to the entrants.

I'm also glad there wasn't the QQing about "but the rules said ORIGINAL image, how can you use art you didn't draw yourself??" like there was before. I always believed "original" referred to the entry, as in not copied from somebody else, rather than not making use of the material from the game and its concept art. Not using in-game and out-of-game art would have been practically impossible for this contest.

I may not have entered this time, but I enjoyed looking through the submissions, and I'm glad to see some of the ones I voted for made it in the end.
