Remote Guild Chat Update

We recently updated the World of Warcraft Remote page with new screenshots and information about the upcoming mobile guild chat feature, currently in development for iPhone®, iPod touch®, and Android™. This new feature will allow World of Warcraft Remote subscribers to participate in guild chat, send whispers to their guildmates, and more through their phone or mobile device. We'll have more information on the availability of this fanciful feat of gnomish engineering soon, so keep your goggles glued to the official World of Warcraft website.

just to let you know for people that are looking use wow remote but have a windows 7 phone there IS a pc Android emulator called Bluestacks app player for windows which lets yo uinstall the wow remote and works great. And so far I been testing it out on my guild chat and having to have a big screen with all the options of auction house and bag inventory is pretty insane. So just heads up it is a godsend for people stuck with the windows 7 phone and having to use the tedious wow site witout the guild chat. Im running it on windows 8 release preview so Im sure it will run great on windows 7 pc.

@Mezegis: there is a great one called bluestacks app player for windows and it can load any android app on your pc or laptop screen and yes the wow remote works great!

Why is this still not available on the Windows Marketplace? I loved this service on my Android Phone but recently upgraded to Nokia 710 WindowsPhone 7 and can't use it anymover :(

I would suggest removing remote from your phone and reinstalling it. Hopefully this would force new info to be taken from blizzard servers.

I currently have remote app on my phone and am paying the 3 dollars a month to use it as i am a GM of a guild. Now my dilema is my guild got flagged for a rename and since it got renamed it didn't change the guild name on the app so now when i go to log onto guild chat on the app it says guild not found. How do i change it to my current guild name, if i cann't fix this then this app is useless to me

I DONT LIKE THE MONTHLY FEE TO GUILD CHAT I THINK THAT SUCKS...YES IS LOW BUT ALREADY PAYING A MONTHLY FEE FOR WOW AND BUY THE MOUNTS AND PETS WHEN THEY SELL THEM.

for those who have the message character is not in a guild on the remote. I have talked to blizzard on it and right now u have to refresh it (your character) at your computer then it shows like it should.

It is a great concept but still has more than its share of bugs. It was nice the 3 or 4 times that it worked if you can excuse the freezing up after 4 or 5 minutes and refusing to make a connection more than once a day. That was for the first week. Week two it will not connect to guild chat at all. The monthly fee is very low but still overvalued in its current state.
