Are you planning to make Vol. 1 free for android users, assuming you ever get around to hiring a Java Dev worth a crap?

1. App stands for Application, not Apple. Any piece of non-OS software, for any platform or OS, can be described as an app. MS Office is an app. WoW, itself, is an app, regardless of whether you're running Windows or OSX.
2. No one is suggesting that Blizz/Cryptozoic not make an app for iOS (the OS behind iPhone/iPod/iPad devices); just that market figures suggest that they make android the priority. no matter how much the Mac and iOS devices are increasing in use, the sales numbers show that androids are out-selling iPhones, and the expectation is that tablets will go the same way.
3. While I don't agree with Wulfstar that all Apple products are crap (most modern Macs are Intel-based, and OSX is really just a custom Linux kernel, after all), they have had a reputation for being specialized in A/V, and the software selection has always been problematic. Apple hasn't improved this with the stranglehold they've put on app publishing, either.
4. I'm curious to know what negotiations you think Blizzard would be going through with Android. While I could see them having to deal with Apple and their iTunes store, android - or more correctly Google - doesn't have the kinds of restrictions that Apple does. This is a big reason androids are out-selling the iPhones. I can write an android app, put it on a website, sell it for whatever I want (though I doubt anyone would pay $10000 for my "hello, World!" app :P), and no one can say a word about it. Why? Because I am not restricted to Google's app rules, and I'm not even putting it on the android market. I'm not required to share my profits with Google, nor the carrier. So I can't imagine what kinds of negotiations that Blizzard might be involved in.

I have an android phone and a PC. This does not mean I don't like Apple products. It means that I have no need for a very well-built media editing machine.
I could go on and on about the differences between the product, but I've done that enough. If what I've said so far doesn't stop you from being a mindless fanboy, nothing will.

Stop blathering nonsense that was spoon-fed to you in Redmond; you're making the rest of us computer techs look bad.
