Recruit-A-Friend Program Levels Up to 80

The Recruit-A-Friend feature offers amazing perks to World of Warcraft players who ask a friend to join them in their adventures through Azeroth. With the 4.2 patch we’ve made the rewards even better, as you can now reap the benefits while leveling all the way to 80.
When you recruit a friend to play World of Warcraft, you’ll be able to send them a unique referral key. When they use this specific trial key to activate a new account, you’ll both receive a number of perks to help you level up together.
- Worried about spending a long time leveling up? No problem! You and your recruit you will gain triple experience while partied, up to level 80.
- Even if you don’t have as much time to play as your recruit, they’ll be able to help you catch up. For every two levels a recruit character earns, they'll gain one "grantable" level. Recruit characters can then grant these levels to your lower level veteran character.
- You won’t have to worry about getting separated; you’ll be able to summon one another to each other's locations from anywhere in the game.
- You’ll receive a credit for 30 days of free game play for each recruit you refer who upgrades to a retail version of World of Warcraft and subscribes.
- Once one of your recruits has paid for 60 days of game time you’ll be able to send an X-53 Touring Rocket to any of your characters! The X-53 is a unique flying mount able to carry a passenger, and only available from Recruit-A-Friend.
For a full rundown on each of these features, requirements, and limitations, hit the Recruit-A-Friend FAQ. You can also run through a visual guide of the referral process, as well as how to redeem your X-53 Touring Rocket.

I tryed it with my girlfriend, new chars and new server, we leveled so fast that we couldnt got money to skills, we simply rushed trough all the content, we was doing like 1% that wow can offer. for sure leveling is not fun to everyone, but, that was horrible
we hit lv 15 in the middle of introduction area, the mobs were grey and if we wanted to a higher level place we got no quests to it and must walk all the way.
Ok. the recruit a friend for sure is a nice ideia, but, please, make the 3x exp something we can chose
my GF just created other account to lvl normal with me

uhhhhhhh......WHAT?!
you do realize they aren't FORCING you to use this right? you're complaining because you're using a service and it's doing what it's SUPPOSED to do?
they don't need to make it a choice because it's already there you either give your gf the email to recruit or you don't and she levels the normal way. you want her to level the normal way then don't give her the email...it's so simple its stupid.
so tell me how is this a HORRIBLE idea when you can simple choose NOT TO USE it and enjoy the game regularly?
makes no sense

What RaF is really useful for is for someone who is a big-time WoW player who wants another account (presumably for dual-boxing) or who wants to power-level legally and then account-transfer the characters to their main account. For the cost of one WoW game purchase (currently $13 on amazon) and one month's sub (which costs nothing since you get a free month in return) you can power-level two alts to 70, and then spend $25 to get one of your new alts to your main account (after granting 35 levels to yet another character). Not a bad deal. If you want to get to 80, it costs another $40. For another $15 you can buy yourself the cool dual-seater mount (just for one character, though).
$13 for a level 70 character + a level 35 character seems like the absolute best way to use this program. And it's not like you even have to power-level one character: you can do it with ANY character you have time enough to level for 90 days. Who cares about account transfers - just power-level another 70 up. Do it twice and you can make yourself a 3rd 70s with all the granted levels. Anyway this is a much better use of this program than to ruin a newbie's experience of WoW by dragging them through weeks' worth of content in hours.

if you want to level the old way...then LEVEL THE OLD WAY...no problem...RAF is there for people who don't want to or don't have the time and the patience to level all the way to 85. YOU say it's fast but that's your opinion...me leveling this DK was me trying to meet a quota of 1 level per day after level 70 and it was just a constant struggle of boredom flying from one place to another to kill X number of enemies or collect X number of items and after 50 quests STILL not have enough to level. everyone has different experiences so RAF is beneficial.
plus it's fun to level with a friend and have a reason for both of you to level...you both need each other to get leveld fast and the time spent makes it enjoyable.
in the end you have to remember it's OPTIONAL so NO its not a horrible way to introduce wow because the boring quests make it so people skip reading quests anyways....its a great tool to have more people get closer to the level cap and have more people to game with.
I've been told that I'm one of the best tanks in my guild and I haven't even finished my RAF time yet...I learned my character by studying online and trial and error. other people can do this and RAF doesnt make people stupid to their character or their class...just lazyness does this
