Coming in 4.3: Gilneas Reputation Mounts

In World of Warcraft: Cataclysm patch 4.3, we’ll be unlocking an additional set of Alliance mounts. We recognize that when players undertake a faction change to the worgen race, there are no Gilneas faction mounts to exchange for their original faction mounts. Players who do so see their total number of mounts decrease.

With the patch, we’ll be adding Gilneas faction mounts to the stables of Azeroth. Alliance characters with exalted Gilneas reputation will now be able to claim these additional mounts to add to their own stables (and achievement numbers).

We hope you’ll visit the new worgen racial mount vendor to pick out a steed to call your own.

From what I see it looks like the worgen mount has far more different skins than the alliance mount, might give people different looks to their toons.

I think they should have added these horse looking mounts with some Gilnean looking armor. Obviously with the choice to still ride the bareback ones, but still, put in a little more effort than using previous models and just slapping it in there.

They could of at least given us the carriage from the worgen quest line and let ya carry two others like the grand ice mammoth and cost the same.. But NOOO we get another horse mount.

Give Blizz a break, just because they didn't come out with some intense epic end-game mount for the puppies, doesn't mean its a fail. The worgen are/were people modeled after the 1700-1800's Victorian humans of our time, and all rode horses, mostly bareback. So the fact that they gave them a retextured horse is cool enough. At least they have something now.

Here's my favorite idea for a mount: Riding a feral worgen, maybe even one that's larger, perhaps something that was bigger than a human. I think that'd be awesome.

i think it would be better if they took the worgen that didnt get toer own mind back and made them mounts, this is like the changed the color of the low lvl human mounts and said, ok im done..

Are people seriously complaining cause it's a horse? As worgen they have a travel form, and don't need a mount. So if their other "form" is human, and humans have horses, what does common sense tell us kiddies? So those disappointed in it being a horse...spend less time in a game and more time practicing your common sense.

Seriously? Come on guys, if you were just going to copy and paste something you could have at least copied Kirara from Inuyasha. A giant fox mount would be fitting, or maybe the spider mounts that were talked about during Wrath beta testing.
