PayPal for Diablo III and Battle.net

We're pleased to announce that in most regions, PayPal will be our payment-service partner for the Diablo III auction house, allowing players who trade with real-world currency the ability to cash out the spoils of their battle-torn adventures via a PayPal account.
PayPal will also soon be added in several regions as a payment option on Battle.net, providing another convenient and secure payment method for digital purchases of Blizzard products and services.
We’ll share region-related specifics, as well as further details on everything mentioned above, in the near future. Stay tuned!

Blizzard, the option is a solid one.
If I want to splurge on something, I can. If I want to earn it myself, I can.
Plus, this will help to keep Diablo III free and supported for years to come.
Kudos!

Solution? Copy and paste into WoW, problem solved.
Balance? That's an illusion. Already in Diablo the people well off financially will have a huge advantage over those working minimum wage or maybe a bit higher.
I have two polar views on this. I actually deleted this post a minute ago and am changing it now that I found the change with paypal where as before I thought it was just another way to fund the credits to battle.net, but now that you can actually "cash-out" with real money... you better believe I will be grinding a character to max level and subsequently grind gear and gold non-stop and then selling the gear for cash only.
You see the problem there? It's people like me who let greed take over and capitalize on an opportunity such as this to supplement my income.
That's the conflict I have with myself, is that I know everyone's income is not the same and I want to help as many people as I can, but if it's over the internet with no personal attachment to who you're selling to then it becomes a lot easier to let your more primitive instincts take over.
You all know where this is going. It will be just like how the government is now, the rich working behind the scenes to control everything, whether you're intelligent or even perceptive enough to realize it.
In conclusion, good idea or bad idea for you the consumer? Great idea if you like money and don't care about balance between the large gap of income between the well off and worse off player base, horrible idea if you care about balance and keeping your characters' strengths limited to what you achieve in game (not in your bank account)... you know... sort of what they try to do with WoW right now...?

Oh sure, if you don't have any issues, all seems fine and dandy. But once you do, good luck getting a resolution in a reasonable amount of time, or at all.
This is a bad idea, unless Blizzard manages to flex their corporate muscle and show Pay Pal who's boss. I hope they know what they are doing.

Why is blizz doing this again? To make stop people who would use the internet to sell their items anyways? It is just a bull... excuse to make more money off of all of the players. You do know they are "taxing" the items you sell and taking a portion of the profits for themselves. I am going to play D3 because it will be fun. But I am just praying some other company comes out with a decent game that isn't a complete sellout like Blizz.
