4.3 Patch Preview - Fangs of the Father

“They wanted to hold me, to keep watch over me – a prisoner in all but name. But I will NOT be held accountable for the sins of my father. My destiny will be my own.”- Wrathion, the Black Prince
The Contract
Patch 4.3 will offer the most deadly and experienced rogues the opportunity to finally play a central role in the fate of the world the rogue’s way: by manipulating key events from the shadows. Players will travel across continents to accomplish crucial missions of reconnaissance, burglary, infiltration and, of course, assassination. Those familiar with the events that unfolded in the Badlands since the Cataclysm struck may recall the story of Rheastrasza, the ambitious red dragon who acquired a black dragon egg and magically purified it, cleansing it of the Black Dragonflight’s corruption. While those events may lead to a more hopeful destiny for Azeroth, it will take cleverness, stealth, skill, and the help of a few friends to unravel the web of intrigue that will reveal what became of the egg… and determine the fate of Deathwing himself.
Wetwork
Rogues willing to do whatever is necessary to ignite a brighter future must first delve into the Dragon’s Soul raid dungeon to begin the quest line. Those who prove their prowess within will be set on a collision course with Ravenholdt Manor and the enigmatic Black Prince, Wrathion. This shadowy figure could be the key to victory for the mortal races, but what is his true agenda? Before the truth behind these mysteries are revealed, enterprising assassins will need to fight tense raid battles against Deathwing’s most powerful minions, and embark alone on perilous missions to seal the fate of the Black Dragonflight. The quest culminates in the earth-scorching execution of Deathwing himself and a shocking revelation about the true nature of the mission.
What’s in it for me?
Rogues who succeed will receive a paired set of daggers that will become increasingly lethal as their bearer progresses along the legendary quest. At the height of their strength, they will be imbued with the vile essence of the Old Gods, as well as the maddened fury of the Black Dragonflight -- bestowing great power upon their bearer. These powers include a stacking increase to Agility which builds until dark wings unfurl from the rogue’s back, removing the combo point cost and increasing damage of finishing moves for a short time. In addition, the wings which can be spread on command (with no combat benefit) to slow a rapid descent, allowing the rogue to slowly fall to the ground… or enact a little death from above! When it comes to dealing death, the Fangs of the Father promise legendary killing power to rogues of any specialization.
An incredible adventure and legendary rewards await. The future of all life on Azeroth hangs in the balance. Better get moving.

First of all lets talk about some of the weapons or aka Legendary items.
Mages, Warlocks, Priest, and Druids had Legendries before anyone else did all a different versions of an item Known as:
Atiesh, Greatstaff of the Guardian Staff
while not able to be gotten anymore it’s still a Legendary weapon.
o and lets not forget this one now:
Dragonwrath, Tarecgosa's Rest Staff
Which now includes Shaman. So all the spell caster classes can just be quite.
While a pain to get it’s still a legendary, and now we move on:
So lets move on to the uber Rogues class:
Golad, Twilight of Aspects Dagger
Tiriosh, Nightmare of Ages Dagger
Currently the uber side of the rogues however lets not forget some of the old stuff:
Warglaive of Azzinoth 1h Sword
Warglaive of Azzinoth 1h Sword
Which also includes Warriors … however if your guild didn’t give you the option for these as a rogue its because at one time the Two Warglaives combined to make a single 2h weapon.. which they no longer do. So all aside you need to just be quite.
So since warriors and Death knights were added to the above legendary lets go ahead and add the others to this list... Not to forget our rogue friends in the masses as well for one more Legendary item:
Thunderfury, Blessed Blade of the Windseeker 1h Sword
Shadowmourne 2h Axe
While it’s still a pain to get its still is a weapon that includes all the above melee classes including Paladins, but not including the druid tank, kitty specs. So now lets not for get another oldy but goody that includes all but shamy melee….
Sulfuras, Hand of Ragnaros 2h Mace
While not the most realistic for the entire melee except for shamy and rogues … it is still a legendary item.
So lets talk about another item that due to Current Release changed there stats .. this also belonged to mostly the druid class:
Val'anyr, Hammer of Ancient Kings 2h Mace
While it only has stam on it now it wasn’t always that way .. it was a intell item that several druids had for healing or boomkins .. however this was strickly a Healing mace.
And there was another not that I like it much and is no longer in the game:
Ashbringer 2h Sword
A joke of a legendary in my honest thoughts was a joke of a item.
No with all this said and still a little more to go … all these had a quest line to them to get either following an item gotten through the raids or started in a weird way. So now on to the hunters and some of the classes lost or forgotten... in one way or another:
Thori'dal, the Stars' Fury 2h Mace
While this was not a started quest but more of a I hope I get it item most hunters have never seen this much less gotten, but still as said in previous statements it’s a legendary weapon, whether you like it or most classes have one legendary weapon for their class.
Now to place some information out there for Blizzard and others to think about.
Druids have no real weapon for feral spec, I.e. cats, however they do seem to have some of the more cool looking weapons and procs<i.e. Staff from Firelands makes kitty flame> that’s just about it for the druid class. While not the best and not really used now Tanking druids did have Sulfuras, Hand of Ragnaros. Still not the best for it but It’s a legendary item.
Hunters have purpose and that’s to do damage however, seem to be and after thought for blizzard due to the fact that their Legendary weapon came out a month before WoTLK. Enough said.
Warriors, paladins, and Death knights While all have A Umberish Legendary weapon for Dps still have no weapons for tanking, except for Death knights who could use ICC legendary for a tanking weapon but then you would have to say they have no Dps weapon so that technically is a double edged sword or in this case axe.
So now on to the Shaman class, while they do have a staff for dps, they technical have no healing legendary or a Enhance legendary.
Now if my calculations are correct:
Druids = 4 Legendary Item
Shaman = 2 Legendary Item
Paladins = 5 Legendary Items
Death Knight = 5 Legendary Items, If you count the Warglavie’s as one
Warriors = 5 Legendary Items, If you count the Warglavie’s as one
Mages = 2 Legendary Item
Priest = 2 Legendary Item
Warlock = 2 Legendary Item
Rogue = 3 Legendary Item, if your counting the Warglavie’s and Daggers as 1
Hunters = 1 Legendary Item
Now I didn’t include the “Legendary Items from The Eye” As you are unable to remove them from the eye, however that said they are technically Legendary Items.
At current date the only classes that have semi up to date or up to date with current expansions is druids, rogues, and well I guess you can add the classes that can use Shadowmoure, but that said they probably got rid of shadowmoure at level 83 to 84.
Alterac Mountains
shaman = 3, sulfuras, val'anyr, and dragonwrath
Priest = 3 val'anyr, dragonwarth, atiesh
hunter = 2, thori'dal, and thunderfury
