Darkmoon Faire Stopping in Philadelphia on September 30

The World of Warcraft Trading Card Game's Darkmoon Faire is arriving in Philadelphia, PA on September 30 and bringing with it a host of fun gaming events. Even if you've never owned a single card, you can learn the game through a demo and enter into one of the Beginner Tournaments, which launch every 2 hours throughout the weekend. You can also challenge Alexstrasza, the Life-Binder to a duel and become a Dragonslayer! On Friday, see the newest set, Throne of the Tides, before it hits stores. Bring your Worldbreaker Block Constructed deck and compete in the main event to win thousands of dollars in prizes. For a full schedule of events, visit the DMF Philadelphia page. We’ll see you there!

@Aristan: I'll second that an East-Coast Blizzcon would be amazing... although, this and Blizzcon are 2 totally different things

@Aristan: The only reason the east-coast doesn't have a blizzcon, is because their headquarters is in Irvine...which is on the west-coast...California. So San Diego's convention center is most convenient.

I live in the southeast US and I can't find a single store that carries trading cards. Blizzard needs to make a deal with Walmart or something.

@Elbeghast: it's not Blizzard exactly... it's Cryptozoic, and they do have a retail relationship with Target, try http://www.wowtcg.com/locations to see if there are other options in your area

@Lielintha: if I'm not mistaken, there is about a 1/11 chance of pulling a loot card and most likely it will be a consumable or pet. There are 3 different possible loot cards per set and the last 3 (soon to be 4) sets have had a pet for the most common, a cosmetic item for the middle loot, and a mount for the epic/fairly-rare loot card. More info on loot cards can be found here http://www.wowtcg.com/loot
