PvP Season 10 Now Ended

Arena and Rated Battleground Season 10 will have ended as of November 29. We will then determine who is eligible for the end-of-season rewards, a process that should take approximately one week. It's very important for players who feel that they may be eligible for Arena titles and/or the Ruthless Gladiator’s Twilight Drake to refrain from transferring their characters to another realm or faction until Season 10 officially ends after maintenance is finished on November 29. During the break between seasons, all Rated Battleground and Arena matches will be unavailable.

At the end of Season 10, Conquest Points will be converted to Honor Points, which offers the possibility of temporarily exceeding the normal 4,000 Honor Point cap. For the week, all Season 10 items will become available for Honor Points (at prices equivalent to their previous Conquest Point cost), with the exception of any items with rating requirements attached. Those items will no longer be available for purchase.

Arena and Rated Battleground Season 11 will begin for level-85 players approximately one week after the end of Season 10 on December 6.  Season 10 titles and mounts will be awarded at that time. Also, new and more powerful items will become available for purchase with Honor Points after maintenance on that date, and any Honor accrued above the 4,000-point cap will be converted into gold at a rate of 35 silver per point. Finally, Season 11 rewards will be made available for purchase with Conquest Points which are earned during the new season.

All Arena Team, Personal, and Matchmaking Ratings will be wiped when Season 11 begins.

slightly confused... it says season 11 begins one week from the end of season 10 on dec 6... so does that mean next week or a week from the official end date of season 10 the 29th of nov. which would be today?

The only thing I agree about is the fact that every expansion since this one is going to be a completely new game with the wow name on it. I think that wow is constantly pandering to the lowest common denominator, which is the noob that comes in and doesn't know how to play and won't read a forum, or even the tooltip for his/her spells/abilities. I just wish the game would quit dumbing down, but for whatever reason, this makes me grumble like the old man that I am, but yet I still play, so go figure. Anyways, I have wipersnappers on my lawn I have to run off so look forward to the new pvp gear and grinding that stuff out. I am never upset about new more powerful gear.

Wtf @ people complaining about having to re-upgrade, it's how the game has and always will be.. since the beginning of the season there has been plenty of time for the casual players to be full ruthless geared already, so it wouldn't matter, farm the honor now and buy the latest honor gear when it's released tomorrow.....

I wish i had read the patch notes and found that now we can get ruthless instead of vicous and I think this is stupid because all the time I spent trying to get the vicous is now useless. So people that new that already and saved their honor or new 85's can just get the ruthless instead of haveing to get the vicous and I think this was a huge mistake on Blizzards part and now I heard next expansion we will be able to get to 90 is also stupid. I honestly think that 85 was a good level max and it didnt always take you very long to get to it(depends on your play style and the amount of time you spend trying to get to it)but 90 seems to high and its to close to 100. If the max level ever is 100 I will quit the game because it seems like it would look and seem stupid to be level 100. Agree or disagree and tell me what you guys think about the new changes for pvp armor and the new level max that is comeing up.(sorry for useing the word stupid so much i wanted to keep this clean for all the younger players).=).

@Tallianor: You're obviously either new or a very casual player. I'm pretty sure it was stated by blizzard they plan to go to lvl 100. Why would you make an expansion and not offer more levels? With the amount of BoA gear and other ways to increase experience gained leveling is an absolute joke. Even without BoA's you can level a character incredibly fast. I would love to hear your thoughts on a more effective way to release new content without raising the level cap. You must realize that there is a story line to this game, right? As for the pvp gear, you realize they get to have non elite gear for 1 week.. WOW they get to have the same gear most of us had for months now... it doesn't mean anything since all you can do is non-rated bgs anyways! All this does is offer a way to start the new season fresh with everyone on a similar level. Just like every other start to a new season skill sort out the good from the bad. I have a theory on which category you fall under, but I'll refrain from that in order to "keep this clean for all the younger players". Forgive me for the aggressive response, but I've grown really fed up with people that post crap without using any intelligence. I blame "some" of the problems WoW has on players with your views who obviously haven't played long and jumped into this game late.. they have based most of this game around your type of player and it has ruined this game for the loyal/seasoned players.

@Tallianor: If wow ever gets to levle 100 im not sure If I would quit or not. I feel like 100 isn't too high but dps will be way too high for it to even be relevent. people will yell at people who have 1 million dps instead of having 3 million dps in raids. will be quite dumb if damage gets buffed a ton in mysts of pandera. In pvp I think the new panda talents are sooo nice. I like not having to respec but just change around how they are and test what ones you like and dislike.

@Tallianor: i agree fully you work your fingers to the bone getting fully geared then bam new patch comes out and you try to pvp but all these new pvpers automatically get season 10 gear and its just like what did we even work for we could have just saved our honor points i have a arena hunter and i feel your pain

@Tallianor: I don't agree with you at all. as long as expansions come out there are going to be a new level cap. I would get insanely bored if there was a universal level cap. Besides that, vicious was very easy to get with the amount of honor you got with every first random every day, plus the insanely high amount of honor that you get with TB. I got full vicious within a week of doing random bgs and TB. If they didn't have armor upgrades every patch, then what would be the point of playing. I would quit the game because there would be nothing left for me to do, and no armor/weapons for me to work for a few days to get. Stop complaining.

@Tallianor: lol, you wanted to keep this clean for the younger players? from the way you said this i assumed you were one of the younger players...ok but anyway, the seasons have restarted 10 times. people get over it...how are you not happy about getting better gear..? its not like its that hard to do. and what you said about going to level 90 literally made me lol. obviously we're going to have a new level cap in a new expansion. sigh..

@Felenia: No. I'll use one of my characters as an example. My shaman had conquest left over at the end of the season. It was converted to honor which brought my honor to 5300 roughly. Now that my honor exceeds 4000 cap I can no longer earn additional honor until I have brought my honor below 4000. Take warning thought, after this 1 week grace period which ends on December 6th as stated by Blizzard, any excess honor will be converted to gold. So basically you should either spend it on anything you may want to purchase or receive the gold on that date, which should be mailed to you via the mailbox as soon as you long in after maintenance should they choose to have one. Which they most likely will since it's the start of S11. Hope this cleared up any/all questions you had.

For those of you who were upset last season about buying all the old arena gear and then it being replaced with new honor gear just a heads up, it will be the same this season and because there was a warning this time no matter how much you QQ they wont be giving you 4k honor like last time
