About World of Warcraft: Wolfheart:

Written by New York Times bestselling author Richard A. Knaak and narrated by Scott Brick, Wolfheart chronicles a series of pivotal events in the aftermath of the Cataclysm, as conflict engulfs every corner of Azeroth. Hungering for more resources amid the turmoil, the Horde have pressed into Ashenvale to feed their burgeoning war machine. There, acting warchief Garrosh Hellscream has employed a brutal new tactic to conquer the region and crush its night elf defenders. Unless the Alliance can overcome its own political strife, the new warchief might succeed in seizing Ashenvale.

Wolfheart is also the story of King Varian Wrynn's struggle to accept the worgen of Gilneas into the Alliance and come to terms with the wolf within himself. As the Horde threat emerges in Ashenvale, Varian's ability to triumph over his own failings will determine the fate of the entire Alliance.

Well that would be a hilarious listen. Richard Knaak is one of the worst, stiffest dialogue writers ever.

Not too enthusiastic about the narrator's voice. Peter Cullen on the other hand would be amazing. I've been dreaming of him in Warcraft ever since the World of Warcraft gameplay trailer years ago.

By the way, I wonder what ever happened to that "audio drama" that was in the works a while back?

Speaking of audio books what ever happened to Lord of the Clans? It was supposed to have been narrated by Dick Hill and been released back in '09, if you do an amazon search for it here is a link http://www.amazon.ca/Lord-Clans-Christie-Golden/dp/1400109876 there clearly was at least a plan to release it. I never heard about it being "cancelled" the last thing I remember on the subject was a post on the site blizzplanet.com during an interview with Dick Hill http://www.blizzplanet.com/blog/comments/warcraft_aubiobooks_postponed_temporarily that said "Without going into many details, the audiobooks are postponed until further notice. The release of these audiobooks will be delayed for a while, but hopefully we will get an announcement of its new release dates." So the audio book is done just never released seems rather bizarre. Whats more is that the Dick Hill Lord of the Clans audio book doesn't look like the only audio book shelved other works include: Warcraft: Day of the Dragon, Warcraft: The Last Guardian, and World of Warcraft: Beyond the Dark Portal. Would love to hear whether or not these are officially cancelled instead of just floating around in production limbo.
