Dragon Soul Difficulty Change- 20%

At the completion of scheduled server maintenance during the week of April 30, the “Power of the Aspects” spell will grow more powerful, reducing the health and damage dealt of all enemies in the Dragon Soul raid by 20%. This spell will grow progressively stronger over time to reduce the difficulty and make the encounters more accessible. The spell will affect both normal and Heroic difficulties, but it will not affect the Raid Finder difficulty.
Don’t need the help of the Dragon Aspects? The spell can be disabled by talking to Lord Afrasastrasz at the beginning of Dragon Soul.
We hope you continue to enjoy Dragon Soul, and that these changes encourage you to attempt a higher difficulty, or just keep pushing to down that next boss.

Do you pick up and take home every rock from the ground you were to pass?
(A safe assumption: no)
Then, why would you pick up and take home even a single 5 lb. diamond from the ground you were to pass?
Because the diamond has great value ! (*ding, ding, ding*)
It's painfully obvious that poster is requesting a design level reconsideration for a return to the game’s roots (not a complete abandonment). After all, what is the value of something which only requires $15 a month to ‘accomplish’? It renders a lashed feeling of being tricked by designers for being gullible enough to overcome an epic challenge before an epic effort was to be removed or significantly marginalized on post progression raids.
It may be surprising but some people enjoy, and at some level need, extremely difficult group challenges without an automatic guarantee of victory through 'free win' mechanisms and in doing so, becoming part of a rare and exclusive club of victors. (What percent of people deny promotions which will triple a salary?) Additionally, it’s to have verification that learning the character, the fight pattern requirements, getting along with the group even in the wipe weeks, etc. actually built up to something epically worthwhile and epically valuable; which is what has been missing for many years in ‘world of casualcrafting (only)’ (as rain is to a desert). The design level war against top-end raid focused guilds’ continues.
Make something ultra-rare and it becomes ultra-valuable (here in terms of ultra-low success rates) and people will show up in droves drooling and burning with desire. - Welcome to a fundamental human trait (which can be exploited to enormous profit and fame). So let the games begin!

Everyone complaining about nerfs seem to forget its not about how fast or how easy Content is for you, its about enjoying it.. your killing DW you killed Arthas and Illidian You killed Characters from your favorite Warcraft games.. I've seen progression of characters from those games and thats why I got WoW For story... for adventure.. Not gear and Achievments.
