World of Warcraft Mouse Gone Wireless

World of Warcraft Mouse Gone Wireless

At E3 2012, SteelSeries unveiled the World of Warcraft® Wireless Mouse, co-designed with Blizzard for wire-free maneuverability and style. No cords, no limits – just pure gaming freedom.

The new wireless MMO mouse brings players an ergonomic, 11-button layout, with 16 million colors of illumination and 16 hours of battery life. Each of the buttons is made with a rubberized, soft-touch coating, providing users with a comfortable grip for long raiding nights and tense arena sessions. The technology for the new mouse includes pro-grade switches, and 3200DPI laser. For extended gaming sessions (or for when you forget to charge it) the mouse can also be wired, and the battery will charge while it’s connected and in use.

The SteelSeries Engine software guides players through an easy, in-game integration set-up with drag and drop functionality of World of Warcraft commands, full button remapping, macro creation and the ability to save an unlimited number of game profiles.

The World of Warcraft Wireless Mouse will be available in Q3 2012 in select retail locations for $129.99 / €129.99. For additional product information head over to the SteelSeries Wireless Mouse product page.

I've heard that wired is better as well, but that was several years ago. At some point wireless should catch up.

The only up-side of this mouse is that it has wired capability. Wireless mouses are horrid for any serious gaming, the reaction lag is terrible with it. Amazes me how you're all siced over it being wireless lol. More money, less quality/performance. No thanks.

I wish they'd make one of these fancy mice with a trackball for your thumb. I love the ease of using a Logitech TrackMan mouse and not having to move the thing around.

Also guys, it's super expensive because it's wireless.

@Noriaeda: the price affects it too like snacksize said my razor naga only cost me 70 why would i pay an extra $60 for less buttons?

Lolz that is really funny the people who say they eont spend $100 on a mouse suck because if they bought one they would know how much fun they are and how much help they can be to you why stress your self looking for buttons when there all at your fingertips on a mouse.. very easy choice i would spend $200 on a razor mouse that was really good because they are amazeing
Login to rate
@Gasoliine: you can get a razer naga for $60, why the hell would you pay $130 for one with less buttons?
And some of us can actually maneuver a keyboard without looking at it constantly

For that price i wouldn't buy it. I don't mind the steel series brand, but i much prefer my razer naga. Perhaps keep the cord make it a good bit cheaper and you'll get some sales. I do agree though a WoW licensed naga would turn out awesome .
