Weekend Sale – 25% Off Faction Change

Keep your friends close and your enemies closer. Through this weekend and for a limited time only, you can change your World of Warcraft character’s faction from the Horde to the Alliance (or vice versa) for 25% off the regular price.

To get started, simply click here. Alternatively, you can log in to your Battle.net account at www.battle.net, select your World of Warcraft account, and then click “Faction Change” at the bottom of the page.

payed thousands of dollars on blizzard games over half a decade..... surpised they dont have a loyalty program... 30 USD is super overpriced(for me) If i have 3 characters i wanna swap over its going to cost me over 100 dollars.... wish they would lower it, at least then supply would increase so they still would make a killing off of it.... comon blizz

Personally i do think that faction changes are a bit overpriced but it how blizzard makes their money to make an awesome game like they have. Honestly it should be 25 dollars and not 30. The game is so expensive as it is let alone another 30 bucks for a faction change its crazy!

As long as people keep paying, it will stay at the completely moronic $30.00. Like Werekin said, other MMO games offer this service at little to no cost. Why Blizzard feels that they need to rip us off further is a mystery. I've been paying my $15.00 a month for nearly six years. They should have a loyalty plan, where we can switch whenever the Hel we feel like it.

it also would be really kind if u could do a limited time free faction change to people with MoP expansion or something cus like me i can't pay 30$ just to change race and faction :( please blizz make a special day that has all the services free PLEEEEAAAASSSSEE!!!!!

@Deathwarder: this would be great, but knowing blizz they wont make it free..... but if they would cut down on the money that would be great. or they need to get free moves to people on the dead realms a free move (with faction change). But again, most likely wont happen

Doesn't matter how "Many things" they have to "manually" transfer... i've played MANY other MMOs that have completely FREE server change. AND let you do it about once a week!... Charging 10 bucks for faction and realms, i could MAYBE understand... But $55?! you've GOT to be F***ing kidding me... Especially now that we have mounts, pets, and wtf ever else things that are ACCOUNT wide... so they have even less stuff to transfer NOW MORE THAN EVER.

Thieves. Plain and simple.

You guys have to consider how many things have to be manually transferred the content pertaining to one faction isn't the same as the other and has to be changed. They work hard on this stuff, be respectful of what they do. Be thankful that we have such an amazing game to play!

We already pay 15$ a month with no new content you'd think it would mean something and they would give us affordable prices for these services. Paying $50 to change server and your race for ONE character is outrageous. That costs more than the expansions themselves.
