Battle.net World Championship Headed to China

Battle.net World Championship Headed to China

We’ve just announced that the Battle.net World Championship event -- the culmination of the over 30 StarCraft II World Championship Series (WCS) tournaments, and home to the upcoming World of Warcraft Arena global finals -- will take place November 17 and 18 in Shanghai, China.

Players from 28 countries are continuing to battle it out in the StarCraft II World Championship Series (WCS) against their countrymen and rivals at the national and continental levels, and their final destination is now set. The best of the best will arrive in Shanghai waving their country’s flag, and fighting for the chance to place their names and countries as the winners of the Battle.net World Championship.

As we get closer to the Battle.net World Championship event we’ll have more details on what events and activities will be featured, where and when streams will be available, player and shoutcaster lineups, and more! Until then, the WCS is just starting to hit its stride. National qualifiers and finals continue, and we’ll soon start seeing the continental-level tournaments, the large tournaments which will decide who will represent their country at the BWC in Shanghai.

@Ainger: have you even played beta or anything? dont judge something if you haven't even seen what happens, pandas have been in WoW's lore since WC3. Its more of a "laid back" xpac. Itll have hardcore raiding etc. but there's no big main boss.

@Leguadas: There is a big main boss but like all other Expansions it isn't until the last patch. End Game the boss is Garrosh Hellscream

@Nassare: Yes it is for both factions. The End game raid for mop is meant to be a raid on orgrimmar with Garrosh being the last boss. But this raid wont be till the very end of the expansion so no doubt we have plenty of time to see why we will be killing him.

I just love to kill Horde, whether I am in China or Michigan... Does not matter, all the crybaby PVE players have to cry.... thank you for bringing us PVP for good, For The Alliance.... Absolutely owned them in Cata Season :-0), on the other hand why not have it in the USA and just ship the @##*s over here to play? Must of gotten a tax break :-)

@Fullcatakllr: Actually it's the other way around on our server, and mainly other servers.

We stomp the allys in the ground and watch them rage. I've yet to see us lose in TB, main Arenas, and in BGs. Our loses are small so it's hard to notice. lol

Some people are gold farmers and yes they do bad things, but there are also many wow players which are good, peaceful and really enjoy the game. As a Chinese player i m kinda happy that there is going to be an activity in China. Thank you blz.
And, i always fight against racism, that is the only thing worse than Communism in this world. Racists need more education because they have spent too much time on touching theirselves.

Let's bring the championships to China, so they don't have to worry about stealing passwords and information wirelessly. They will now be able to do so in person.

Cataclysm ruined the game and Pandarrhea is going to finish it off. The talent tree's and the total laziness of the morons that took over blizz is pathetic. I'd like to know how such smart people can be so stupid. The true owners of Blizz need to look me up and put me in charge, I'd clean house and get rid of these morons with their own little fantasies of what a game should be and make the game what it once was. I'd bring back the old players while keeping the new. Then when I make my bazillions from doing so, I'll start a reality show called" even a monkey could do it" and put average people in place of presidents of big companies to show a moron could do what they do. And after I start that, I'll open up an animal shelter/orphanage so the kids can learn love and responsibility while taking care of strays. :-)

@Twincityfed: I'm pretty sure that MoP is going to have the most content that an xpack has had in a while, so I don't see why you're calling them lazy. And yes, recent xpacks have been better than cata, but just because you can't stick it through just means you're not a real player and you're probably bad at the game as a whole. The WoW community doesn't need people like you. If you don't like something that you haven't tried yet then just stop playing and don't come back. No need to take out your spite on Blizz.
