I did both sides of the Scenario, and while I appreciate the work, it was essentially a speed run, with literally no oomph. Just once I'd like to not speed run through anything, so why not make these scenarios single player? I'd love to do something like that with a crew of special ops goblins, instead of two other players that just want to blast through it. Dungeons are bad enough with the "go go go" mentality, but must everything be that way?

@Nornova: Although I've only done the Horde side of this, I totally agree. There should be a bit more story line and bit less "How many more seconds can we shave off this run???"

This lead in was poorly made, enough said. I would rather have watched a five minute long cut scene on what happened then put me down there and mindlessly kill everything with no strategy.

They all seem very good to me, I don't really mind the lore and it looked ok with it anyway. I also looked at some of the screenshots for the newer ones, but one I don't get is the Brewmoon Festival. Does it come under attack or what? All I saw was them having a festival and a couple of circus animals and such. The description also talked about it was a hidden small village behind a peak and young Pandaren go there, but nothing about any attacks.

For everyone talking about the lack of lore, maybe they played a different scenario then I did. People are clamoring for combat, but that does not make sense at all for the story. When you arrive for the horde you are a small group getting the alliance to get behind the wall, the bomb falls.... guess what....NO SURVIVORS(well one I guess). Kind of hard to mount a resistance when you are all dead.

As for a preview of scenarios is was not that bad, in fact it setup MoP perfectly I tought.

As for Pre-Release content, how was this not something fun. I remember wiping constantly from the demon before BC, dying ALL THE TIME so I could not level before WotLK, and getting roasted by DW everytime I stepped out of a city before Cata. If your idea of fun before a release is to just die a lot and NOT get any lore out of it then just jump off your flying mount from up high, there you go, previous pre-release events. Enjoy!

So getting a preview of content that is yet to come, getting to stock up on JP doing it, and getting some lore to set up the expansion...why are people complaining?!?!

I say good job Blizzard, you have had me hooked since Warcraft:Orcs and Humans and you have done the best pre-release yet. Can't wait for the expansion.

This has been bothering me since Cata, but....When will Blizz let the Alliance gets some revenge for once? I mean first we lost Southshore, and now we lost Theramore that alone needs to cause some retaliation on our side.

While these scenarios might be a fun thing to do in the expansion (I look forward to trying them out), I don't feel that making this one available now was an adequate substitute for the week long pre-release events that Blizzard used to do. I miss that.

@Luxadama: Agree. Also I wish they would make the the fire work or mana bomb a higher drop because I have been farming it all week an have yet to see it drop. An for something that is no longer going to be available it should have a higher drop.....!!

This scenario, being done at level 85 with all raid gear, was easy, but fun at the same time. I can imagine that it will be much tougher at level 90 with early patch level gear. I personally really like the lore, and the fact that Theramore is now destroyed (Although it makes me a little sad!). New content is fun, and I'm looking forward to more!

Horrible, waited 40 min to que for this thing and you blow through it in 5 min. The mood and enviroment it throws you into feels out of place, preparing somethng epic only to find its just mindless trash killing with no objectives. Hell it doesnt even feel like an actual wars is going on since all the npcs just kinda stand there or walk back and forth 10ft in the same spots. Even quest open world areas have npcs fighting other npcs theres none of that here, they just stand there waiting for you to minless push on and kill them through is garbage. After I had done the event I found out this is apparently a major event for the lore storyline in the WoW universe. Too bad, it all seemed to blend together like a 5 min valor cap run, hell I cant even remember the horde general that led the assult. Infact the only npc I remember is Jaina who gets a whooping 3 lines of diologue in the entire senario, the senario dedicated to the fall of her city.
As player who came in when cata first came out I was expecting more. I actually went back and did the old events leading to the litchking expansion, or the events leading to the cata expansion where you have to kill twilight drake leaders. I was kinda looking forward to this event being able to do something memorble and epic like the older players got that I couldnt experience when it was challenging. I feel like I got cheated out of my MoP transition event. Bet the book is as bland as this senario too

@Whyvern: Actually I feel like the scenario did a pretty good job of displaying how the books lore explained it. The destruction of theramore pretty much left us in the alliance in a very hard pressed situation where it was hard to retaliate back.

@Whyvern: You also got cheated out having to work hard to set up a same realm group and having to ride from Southshore all the way to Tirisfal Glades, as two people risked their lives just to do the Scarlet Monastery dungeons back in the day. I could go on and on about players who started playing this game early on and use valuable playtime hours to provide feedback to Blizzard so the game wouldn't consume them as far as all that needed to be done in order to get the maximum entertainment out of this game. Please go take your useless rant out of here.

I'll put my two cents along with the others who had hoped this scenario would include some more flash and awe.

I'm glad the scenario was not a challenge to fight. The point is lore.. and easy JP/VP for most. There already are and will be fights to challenge you.. dungeons, heroic dungeons, challenge mode dungeons, raids, heroic raids.. take your pick and quit complaining about something you are not required to do.

I would have liked the atmosphere of the Theramore scenario to have been a little more interesting at least. Not even with stuff you had to do, just things like.. Sounds of cannon fire and the battering ram against the gates, aerial battle with Kalecgos in the fray and the screams of gryphons being slain, very loud explosions and weapon clashing and war cries outside the walls, mounted fighters charging through the fighting.. painting more of an actual chaotic battle scene instead of "Hey look, another patrol of roughly six people casually walking down the road. Let's kill them." A little more interaction with the Alliance NPCs that we don't fight might've been neat, like having Jaina yelling at you to turn away or be slain and then have groups of guards suddenly rush you to defend her as Rhonin drags her to safety or something (from the Horde point of view, obviously). Anyway, the point is there was a lot more that could have been done to immerse the player in the action while still not making it too difficult or time-consuming to complete. And yes, more cut-scenes please!

@Bendina: The thing is that what you said, although exciting, would have been noticed the first time, and then for the next bazillion times it would go unnoticed. Also, did you consider the fact that EVERYONE except for Jaina (of course) was dead? Hard to hear the sound of cannons when you don't have people manning them.

Ironically, they kept a lot of story out of this Scenario, because people always complain when there is too much story going on in dungeons. (i.e. Culling of Stratholm) So, they opt not to put story in and people complain.

They truly can't win.

Alot of you retards have to remember. the item level requirement right now to get into theramores fall is 353... of course its gonna be easy to just walk threw it unless your mentally incapable of playing the game. i thought it could of had more to it but i enjoyed it because it was something new and gave me a look on what scenarios are gonna look like in MOP. Stop hating if you have a problem with it please !@#$ and quit... or be a big baby and cry to blizzard to complain your choice

I liked the event, or the idea of it, but it wasn't what I expected. After reading the book I was hoping for another approach to the event. This is how I imagine it: Arriving to Theramore in the alliance ships (alliance players) while the horde was marching from the norh (horde players) and basically re-create the whole battle like a 40man BG goin from the defense to the defeat of the Horde in the first battle, then going with Shandris and Vereesa away from the blast while horde players whatch the mana bomb being dropped on Theramore and heairing Baine and/or Vol Jin judging the use of the mana bomb. In my opinion that would be epic! Not complaining just saying that wasn't what I expected

@Deathcrow: I agree. I just thought we would have seen a bit more interaction with some NPCs, outside of just killing the mobs. And really, if you time it right you don't have to fight very many. That's how people get through it in at or under 5 minutes. Killing them all takes more time :)

I, personally, find it amazing that all of you whiners play World of Warcraft for hours a day and all you do is complain, constantly. It's obvious that you love the game and are very passionate about it... what confuses me, is that instead of offering ideas, suggestions, solutions ,etc... all you do is complain and flame Blizzard... Do you have any idea how annoying you are? It's pathetic and makes you look petty and weak. Try some constructive criticism once in your life... sheesh...

@Praesidio: I don't complain often but I don't mind when other people do. It keeps companies on their toes and constantly striving to be better. Without the complainers companies would get complacent and product quality would suffer. Flame away.

@Praesidio: I agree with you, but i must admit that the fall of theramore was quite boring. I hope blizzard will fix this in the 90 version because after what i've read in the book of Jaina (awsome btw) i was expecting blood and corpse everywhere, and actually DO a roguish infiltration of theramore and rescue the kirin tor blood elf. But instead we #*#@!#** an entire army with 2 buddy. So blizzard should add more npc fighting and more rumble/destruction of the city when we enter.
