My friend is wondering if you get a free month like you do with any other expansion when you buy it from the store. I got a digital copy but I did not get a free month. Anyone know?

when I enter the game the lich king is still in the background not cataclysm or Mists of Pandaria and i have upgrade my account in battle net, is this normal?

@Boomkinpro: For some reason anti-virus programs do not yet recognize WoW's new download format and block it thinking it is a virus. Try disabling your anti-virus (if you cant uninstall and re-install after you've installed MoP) and then installing the program. Dont forget to restart your computer after you've disabled (or removed) your anti virus. This most commonly happens with AVG, Avast, etc... programs.

ok i havent been on since 2009, so i merged my accounts, made it active, and then downlaoded WOW on my computer....after hours of it downloading it finally says "game is up to date", but when i hit the "play" button it doesnt do anything. and the same thing happeneds when i double click the WOW icon on my home screen....it just wont load and let me play. did i forget to do something?? do i have to start all over?? should i reinstall it??? please someone help!!!

@Oneka: same thing happened to me, i was playing one day, downloaded the 5.0.5 ptch i think it was and after every time i push play it just brings it back up. iv been playing since BC and this has never happened before

I bought mop thru battle net account. Does mop download automatic or do i need to put in a code. Is mop just there when I play WOW? I just don't know what to do after purchasing Mop thru my battle net account. Can you help :0)

@Moateywa: Once you have upgraded via digital copy from battle.net sign in to the game as you normally would. This will start the update to MoP. I would suggest after signing in, closing the program and re-opening it and letting the update finish before playing. Hope this helped.

been a while since i last played. i had to uninstall the game client and reinstall it because it said it had to optimize game files and could take up to an hour but it would never finish. Three days of trying and I just gave up.

@Kilaklown: This is a known issue. Battle.net changed their download process and most anti-virus programs do not recognize it so treat it as a virus or trojan. Try disabling your anti-virus if you can. If not completely uninstall your anti virus reboot your computer and try reinstalling MoP. After you have finished re install your anti-virus.

I need some help. about 5 days before MoP was released, i attempted to login into wow. I clicked on the launcher and it opened, then when I pressed play it continued to load as normal. Within seconds however, the launcher came back up. It has repeatedly done this. Could I have any input on this?

@Darlancia: go to battle.net and enter the product key found on the quickstart guilde that was in the game case. you do not need to put the disk in. the data is already on your comp as long as your up to date on the patches.

@Eichichichii: yes and no. you could buy the disk or just get the digitel upgrade that blizz is selling. if you buy the disk you do not need to put it in if you are up to date on the patches already you just need to put in your product key at battle.net.

For those who are trying to install from the disc, please note that if you've patched up to patch 5.0.5 it's already installed and there's no need to do anything more. If you're still having issues, please visit the tech support forums for help.
