so far the only thing i have to complain about is the tiny glitches lurking around pandaria, like the insane respawn timer in zones like Jade Forest, the mobs just respawn faster then they can be killed

@Holyrise: The high respawn is not a glitch, it does have a purpose. With the xpac being so new and so many people playing that on your avg realm if it was not as high as it is then the forums would be flooded with complaints about people camping mob spawn points. (cough vanilla & BC cough) not very fun if you cant kill the things you need for your quest.

I LOVED BC but holy cow!... Pandaria is awesome! Azuremyst and Bloodmyst Isle will still be my all time favorite zones + Music in game but this is great! I just watched the Blizzcon 2011 Developer panel on Youtube, its really awesome, all the new technology you have put into this expansion and utilized it very well, a good watch if you want, I watched the entirety of it, its just over an hour.

For the first time ever, I am actually looking forward to leveling several to max just to do Pandaria again. I love the art, the music, the voice acting, the puns... everything. I'd totally sign up for another Annual pass when mine ends in January 21st!

Thanks for the enjoyment, my wife actually came back to the game and transferred to my realm and I got my brother to subscribe as well, a first time ever player. I hope future expansions like this happen.

I agree with Kotojaki. I personally have not made it out of Jade Forest because I want to redo the quests with all my alts now, great job Blizz on the story and questing in Pandaria.

@Deathseekerx: Next set of armor you get looks like mine, but hate to say it, Worgen ruin the astedic of just about every helmet they put on, my best friend plays a Worgen and says that as well.

I never doubted the potential of this expansion, although others thought pandas were not what this game was about. I actually enjoyed questing in Pandaland.. there was something about each questline that gripped me to keep going. Maybe it was the collection of common vanity items you get, or the insane amounts of nodes you can mine, or herbs you can gather. Congratulations on another successful expansion pack, imo. People who said they quit just because of the thought of pandas are probably back just because of new content... that makes me laugh.

@Acceptable: Absolutely! I bet you all of those people that supposedly quit will come back once they find out what their missing. I even responded on a few gaming websites my views about the game beforehand on the limited information blizzard told us and the pictures they showed us and I have to say that my reviews were pretty dead on accurate to what I think after playing through Pandaria it's kind of scary.

This xpac great and I ma having blast but unfurtunately it lagging behind WOTLK (same situation delay release in China) in sales in same period of time. Cataclysm sales vs MoP sales not compared yet do to China not included in number looks promising though.

I had my doubts about this expansion at first, but after playing through it for a good while, i was blown away by everything in it. The scenery of pandaria itself is so beautiful :) I eagerly await to see what the major content patch itself has in store for us ^^ Keep up the great work blizz!

@Azarhius: If you read the topic it said "1 week sales". So doesn't include the digital versions at all. Alot of companies keep those numbers a secret. But since this is blizzard i'm sure they'll release the full set of numbers during a share holders call.

@Knícks: i dont get what is wrong with it? some ppl like to wait a while to buy something and see if it is worth it or not and some ppl dont buy new exp if they are not max lvl or they still dont have much time to invest in the new stuff yet

@Knícks: My guess is there's a ton of players (I would guess about 7 million :-P) who want to wait a bit while the initial surge of players gum up questing zones and mat farming.

Some who rely on the AH a bit to level/profession up may be waiting for prices to stablize a bit.

There's also people that may have no near-term interest in rolling a monk or a panda and would like to have as many toons at 85 as possible before buying into the new content of MoP.

Plus, that 2.7 million number is pre-China launch. We know how many people are there.

@Knícks: Chinese subscribers do not purchase expansions, they work more like patches. As long as you have an active WoW account (paying your subscriptions) you are playing the most up to date version of WoW. Therefore, you could have 5 million Chinese subscribers, but not 1 would be able, or need to purchase Mists.

@Darksaber: Perhaps, but Cata did have a few pretty significant changes that would draw more people in at launch:

- 100k+ Health pools at max level
- EK and Kalimdor completely redone
- Flying anywhere in Azeroth

The Kalimdor/EK overhauls invited players to roll new toons and not even touch the new 80+ content.

Cata had these features to help bring in a larger launch number.

@Darksaber: Also, its worth noting that while many saw WotLK as an overall good expansion, most found Cata to be lack luster. That, and not much has happened in WoW over the past few months, so many got bored/sick of it and left. So its only natural that the sales would be lower.

That said, 2.7 million is a lot of purchases and much more than analysts suspected. Any other mmo developer would kill to see that kind of opening.

I honestly am having a hard time believing that the expansion has been getting such low ratings. It's the most fun I've had with a game for quite some time. Monks are fun for me, I love the pandas(I think they're adorable and I like how you can choose which faction you want to be on), the new quests are great, I actually like the new talent system(don't get me wrong there are parts about the old one I miss, like getting talents more often, but I like how my choices aren't 'oh you have to do this or you suck' but something you choose because you like it), and I think Pandaria is GORGEOUS so far - and I don't even have the graphics on the highest settings.

I've been playing off and on since late Burning Crusade, and I can honestly say that this is my favorite expansion thus far. It makes me sad that so many people are hating on it. :(
