Topic Glyphed Efflo - Stealth Nerf
Hey, maybe this was just my plot to make a stealth "Glyph of Efflo - Part 2" thread :P
if you insist ;)
What also makes it better is that similar AoE mass heal abilities like SCK, Healing Rain and Holy Radiance have cast/channel times and high mana costs. Druids can just put Efflo down and use all of that extra casting time and mana that other classes would have to use casting/refreshing their ground heal on more Rejuvs. As a result, the actual healing done by Efflo is deceiving; if you want to compare it to something like Healing Rain, you have to account for what the Druid is doing with that 125,000 mana and ~15 seconds of GCD time per minute they are gaining over the Shaman by it being instant, unlimited and free. Factor those extra Rejuvs in, and the idiotic current Efflo glyph implementation is probably providing more stacked healing than the "stacked AoE niche healer".
Efflo provides no additional cast time, it's just extra healing.
It's not comparable to Healing Rain, that's more like Wild Growth. SotF+WG actually uses more GCDs per minute than UE+HR.
We did get some extra GCDs from the Mushroom change but that's separate from the glyph.
Healing Rain still wastes more cast time and should NOT be the standard because:
- it's rotational
- UE is terrible whereas Swiftmend is fantastic
- requires a targeting reticule + mouse click
