Thok's Acid-Grooved Tooth Cleave

Hi, just wondering if anybody has tested the range on the cleave. I've heard a few different people say 5 yards from the target it procs from others say 10 yards. Anybody know for sure?
Thanks

Going by what some monks have mentioned, it's around 20 yards. I haven't tested this with my trinket yet though.

From personal tests done with two guildies of mine, the proc range appears to be around 7 yards from the target it procs from. It wouldn't proc anything further than 7 yards for me, so I would assume the proc range is somewhere in that general area.

Ran tests with it at 20, 15, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, and 5 yards for a point of reference.

I don't think I like this trinket, if we have to lose at least 1000+ int I would like to have my other stats amplified instead of a very small chance to cleave heal. The proc is good too though, but yea I think Sha of Prides trinket is for me, I guess this one would suit other classes more like HoT classes? /shrug

Anyway, I have a feeling it may be underpowered like Lei Shens "BiS" *snicker* trinket, yea I can't wait to get rid of this thing lol.

The INT proc from the Thok trinket averages about 18% uptime, and actually works out to more of an INT gain than static INT trinkets of the same ilvl give you. Sure, you have the RNG of INT procs and whether they line up well with heavy damage and cooldowns, but it has the potential to be very powerful.

I don't think that it's better than Prismatic Prison; the math may vary by class, but the last time I did calculations, Thok's would need to average 5.5% of an output gain from the cleave proc to beat the amp trinket. However, the real question is whether it's better than Dysmorphic Samophlange for 2nd BiS trinket. because I think the Sha of Pride trinket will be BiS for everyone.

The good news is that some of us play a class where we don't need a regen trinketlolololol

I intend to run double amp trinkets.

2/3 of our casters are done with the Immerseus one.

Yea, I'm not to sure about what I want to run right now for trinks. I think my spirit and divine plea should be good enough to get me through all the fights with no problem and I am planning on running Prismatic Prison of Pride and Thok's Acid-Grooved Tooth. Hopefully It will increase my output significantly enough to warrant dropping Heroic Horrdion for mana regen.
