A couple of weeks ago, I put my Retribution set in the bank and changed my second spec to a holy build more suitable for PVP. Have to admit I am having lots of fun with this...Here is a link to this build. I chose to put points in eye for an eye in the retribution tree and two points in blessed life in the holy tree that I didn't take in my normal pve build. It's weird, but at times I almost feel immortal in battlegrounds, but then a mob of priests, druids and rogues gang stun, poison and manna drain me. Or worse turn me into a bunny or frog....I just think this is disrespectful
Anyone have some suggested tweaks to this build. Try to explain why your proposed modification is an improvement.
Also anyone have some suggestions on how to counter waive of gang stun, poison, manna drain...Assume bubble is on cooldown
Personally, I wouldn't have chosen Arbiter of the Light. Judgement Crits are nice, but they aren't actually going to do much for you in PVP. You'll spend more of your time healing yourself through focus damage. Which is also why I wouldn't have taken Blazing Light.
I also only went 2/3 for Clarity of Purpose for reasons that will make sense in a bit when I get to the other trees.
2/2 Denounce because the mana reduction is huge and Excorcism is spammable now. Rare is the opportunity that you get to go Shockadin, but when it comes up, you don't want it to gimp your heals by making you go OOM.
2 points in Daybreak is almost a must have. This basically gives you 2 Holy Shocks in a row that are only CD'd by the global. HS should be the heal you're using most often in PVP because it's uninterruptable and if spec'd correctly, it hits like a truck.
In the Prot Tree, I would drop divinity and take the two points in Eternal Glory instead. Being able to spam Word of Glory is what will keep you alive a while longer in a focus fight, and it also makes your opposing team REALLY irritated. I've actually had this proc 3 heals in a row before. It's AMAZING.
In the Ret tree, I took Crusade instead of EfaE because of the buff to Holy Shock.
I don't think your build is bad, but I think you're focusing more on through-put than survivability and in PVP, bigger heals don't mean much when your screen is black and white. Think about the ability to spam Holy Shock or Word of Glory on yourself in between those pesky little stuns you were talking about. Check this out. Let me know if you think I'm crazy. ;p)

Oh and btw, this build won't be as good on Beta or after 12/7. They will be nerfing Blessed Life to only proc every 8 seconds. Right now, however, if you have any resilience at all, you should have no trouble getting all the flag carrying achievements in WsG and EOtS. ;-) Best of luck to you. Have fun!
