I'm not playing in the beta tests, so I have no idea how the Holy Shock nerf is affecting our raid healing abilities/rotations etc in PVE. But I am concerned. On Live I've gotten quite used to using Holy Shock as one of my main spells, interspersed with the various Infusion of Light/Word of Glory procs, and FoLs for heavier damage. (Yes, I do know I'll need to resort to HL's for filler come Cata... sigh.) But with the 33% reduction in HS, is this usage going to change drastically?
I can understand completely that something had to change if holy Pallies were indeed OP in PvP. But is this yet another case where our PvE throughput has been sacrificed on the altar of PvP? Or is the difference not as awful as it first appears?
