Format stolen from the RP forum, go ahead and share a brief description of your character. I think I speak for most when I say I won't read a four page biography. Here's the posting format I so shamelessly ripped off:

Character's Name: Tadkins Naletop
Realm: Moon Guard

Age: 65 (Immortal through undeath)
Current Residence: Undercity
Short Back Story: Evil, wretched gnome that betrayed the Alliance. Appealed to the Horde through some old history with the Forsaken, and agreed to swear fealty to Lady Sylvanas. Takes the illusory guise of a tauren in order to blend in, though she occasionally reverts back to gnome form. Currently pursues her own dark, selfish agenda.

Character's Name: Pella
Level: 66 and rising
Age: ~2000ish. She's stopped counting.
Current Residence: None, really. She travels with her dude.
Short Back Story: Grew up an orphan, spent a lot of time around other vindicators and anchorites, ended up becoming a holydin, crashed on Azeroth, had some unpleasant encounters with the Horde, took up a hammer and shield and decided yeah that's never happening again. Currently beating up some demon tail out in the Outland. No real plans, just tends to travel around, doing what's right in her mind, protecting those who need help.

Character's Name: Jin'Marou Shavai

Current Residence: Sen'jin Village, Durotar.

Short Back Story: You would have to ask Shavai regarding specifics. He grew up with some Darkspear holdouts in Stranglethorn, including his parents and grandmother. He left the jungle, joined up with his fellow tribesmen on the isles and now he continues to aid the Darkspear and the Horde to the best of his ability.

Age: Late 20's or early 30's
Current Residence: Seen mostly in Dalaran or Stormwind. Prefers Darnassus when not required to be elsewhere.

Short Back Story:

Born to vineyard farmers in Northshire, she grew up a simple farmgirl working and tending the vineyards with her Mother and Father. When the Defias uprising happened, her Mother and Father were slain in the fields as the Defias took over. Shrilinda managed to make it to the Northshire Abbey with the fortunate few to survive the uprising. It was there that she discovered she had talent tending to the other injured farmers. Eventually, Shrilinda was trained in the Healing arts by the Abbey clergy and upon demonstrating significant skill, was sent to the Cathedral in Stormwind to begin her formal training.

Character's Name: Danyl Silverhelm

Age: 28
Current Residence: Stormwind

Short Back Story: Danyl was raised an orphan, never knowing who his parents were or whether they still lived. Immediately upon coming of age, he enlisted with the Lordaeron military, where he fought in the third war.

Upon conclusion of the third war, he departed the military for mercenary work -- going from battle to battle and fighting in every major engagement over the years that followed. This constant state of warfare is all he knows, and he continues his mercenary career -- using Stormwind as an effective centre of operations.

Short Back Story: Having outlived both her mate and children, she is left to raise her granddaughter, Njasi, alone. Devoted to both Lukou and the Baron, she is an old woman entrenched in her ways and who finds comfort in old rituals and Voodoo. Determined to help secure the future of the Darkspear, she serves as the Elder to the Spirit.

Character's Name: Ayriath Everin Sunwalker

Level: 80

Age: 162

Current Residence: Eversong Woods

Short Back Story: Fought in the Scourge Invasion and actually ran away mid-fight, leading her to resign herself from the Farstriders without listing a reason due to her sense of broken honor. Didn't do anything extremely important when she was a High Elf. Ex-Farstrider. Been active as a hired hand alongside the Horde forces. Nothing much special.

Character's Name: Heren Jamaz Zalgradis Hofflerland

Current Residence: Stormwind

Short Back Story: A farm raised boy who took up his sword during the Second and Third War. Unable to cope with normal farm life afterwards, he became entranced by gladiatorial combat and the rewards and honor that came with it.

Character's Name: Kayonnei, Anchorite

Age: My age? Oh hm... Well, I was born during the last trip of Oshu'gun before it crashed into Draenor. I suppose you could say that I am a fully matured woman, but not yet nearing "middle age."
Current Residence: Telredor, Zangarmarsh, but I am most often at the Cathedral of Light in Stormwind City.

Short Back Story: I lived on Draenor for nearly all of my mature life, studying as an anchorite after Velen and the Naaru brought the Light to our people. Upon completing my studies, I spent at a small shrine in Zangarmarsh up until the war with the Orcs. At that point, I helped in assisting the other Draenei as they fled, eventually ending up on the Exodar. I am now visit Stormwind City in hopes to learn more of the worship of our allied friends.

Character's Name: Dalantia

Age: Unknown; best guess is 80-90.
Current Residence: Alternates between the Aldor Rise in Shattrath and the Dawn Company Chapter House (undisclosed location).

Short Backstory: The Iron Hand of Dawn has a talent for survival - living through three wars and counting, he's often found that the only people he can actually trust fly his flag and no one else's. The Alliance doesn't trust those that have touched fel magic - the Horde refuses to respect the blood shed by and from him for their causes. Creative, vicious, and embittered, Dal now focuses only on improving himself and his self-made martial arts style, and surviving what comes.

Character's Name: Amadea (Answers to 'A', and 'Dea' also)

Age: Old enough to know better. (Likely between 90-100)
Current Residence: The Dawn Company Chapter House, at a location which cannot be disclosed for security purposes.

Short Backstory: A wild child that grew up on the streets, and turned to the woods when the streets were no longer safe to work in, now a thoroughly jaded combat veteran that's tired of wars and politics. Extremely protective of her family, and trusting only of them and her fellow Company members, for the most part.

Character's Name: Khaji

Aliases: Jahki (alter-ego), Sparkletroll (stage name), the 113th (???)

Level: 80

Age: 18

Current Residence: The Hollow, his home in Winterspring

Short Backstory: Taken from www.khaji.net :

Not much is known of Khaji’s past. He deliberately chooses to avoid any subject prior to his graduation as an illusionist and life as a bard. He’s said he comes from “the orphanage”. Mysterious and even sinister, Khaji is a shady character, sometimes compensating such blank spots with an overly joyous- if not downright creepy- attitude.

For all that he is and isn’t, however, he’s certainly one thing: colorful. The parasol-wielding troll will always try to put a display of vanity- either by conjuring a small raincloud over his head (aptly named “Nimbus”), wearing overly expensive clothing, or producing over the top performances.

Short Back Story: The young healer known as Windchanter lived in the Stonetalon Mountains with the Wheathoof Tribe for most of his life. Recently called by honored spirits of the dead to reform the tribe he was born from, Windchanter has left the safety of Moonglade and Stonetalon to explore the vast world with his family. He is sometimes seen as air-headed or dense due to his ambitions and the sporadic, unsteady guidance he offers his friends and family.

Short Back Story:

Liannah Fairgrove was born and raised on a fruit tree estate in the southern area of Quel'thalas. She ran away from home during the onset of the Third War and ended up in a battle in which she lost her memory and her eyesight. She was taken in by the man who caused her accidental blindness and eventually raised up as his adoptive daughter, renaming her Trinea (since she had no memory of her own). After he went missing, she found herself very much alone until she stumbled upon members of Kiss of the Betrayer, an underground group of Light followers still living and practicing in Lordaeron. The group over the years became a church, its members her family, and its leader her husband.
