<Anguish> is a community of close friends. We are a raiding guild with our main focus on progression in current content. While we enjoy having fun, we also know when it's time to buckle down and push content. We have open recruitment for social members who enjoy all aspects of World of Warcraft from dungeon runs, PVP (Arenas/Battlegrounds), questing, lore, etc. Our social members can either apply on our website, or talk to our Guild Master Epicinsanity in-game.
<Anguish> is a progression focused raiding guild with recruitment for specific classes (listed below), but will accept any exceptional player, and/or class. Our raiders are passionate about their classes and roles. They are constantly looking for ways to improve, take constructive criticism, and always consider the guild's priorities over their own personal glory. They are prepared to adapt to random situations they may encounter and have no issues with being aware of their surroundings. If you think you have the talent and attitude to belong in a stable progression-focused guild, we would love to see an application from you!
<Anguish> requires that our raiders have a 90% raid attendance. Each raider is required to post out for raids 24 hours in advance in order to help with raid preparation. We believe that real life and responsibilities are always more important than World of Warcraft. The reason for the posting out requirement is to show respect towards the other raiders/members who have made the dedication to attend raids.
Raid Dates: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Sunday 8-11pm EST (Server)
<Anguish> Raider Recruitment (As of 01/29/2012):
Dragon Soul: 1/8 Heroic
Previous Cataclysm Raid Progression: 1/7 Heroic Firelands, 4/4 Bastion of Twilight, 6/6 Blackwing Descent, 2/2 Throne of the Four Winds, and 3/3 Baradin Hold.

Thats a great question. The reason we decided on using a EPGP system was not based on the numbers of raiders we have, but based on a "you get what you give" mentality. Meaning, the more time and effort you put into the guild, the guild will reward you for it. My time is important to me, in and out of game. And I don't want to waste other people's time. I will be giving out EP not just for raiding, but also for people who make flasks for the guild, donate to the guild bank, etc. We have even been throwing around a type of point system to promote Guild PVP.
Like the golbins, and all those other green things running around always say, "Time is money, friend."
It's easier to have an established loot system so that we can try to pervent as much loot drama as we can, then having to deal with /roll drama, or loot council corruption.
Edited for Update: We are still using the EPGP system within the guild, more as a way of dedicated than for loot. Since we are a small 10 man, we will be using a Loot Council for main spec, and a determined gear distribution for Off Spec classes.

We don't want to be a casual guild, we want to be a dedicated semi-hardcore 10 man guild. We are a very relaxed, fun, group of people. We are small, but looking to grow so we can start raiding!!! If your looking for a home, check out our website, or hit me up in-game. I'm always up for a good talk!
