I am a serious if somewhat antisocial role-player who has called Feathermoon home since I began playing WoW, less than two years ago. I am new, however, to these community forums.
I have recently completed work on my Illustrated Backstory and have posted the files on Wuala. The story is told graphic-novel style and the files are thirteen JPGs. They are publicly available at the following link: I suggest downloading them so you can zoom in. I hope you enjoy!
Ixe Aeristan, Dark Heirophant of the <Temple of Chaos>
30 Orc Shaman
(I don't really RP, but I've always liked to give my characters an elaborate back story because I've loved Warcraft lore since the 90's. I like to feel immersed in WoW when I play, hence rolling a new character on an RP server. The player attitudes in non RP servers have gotten too trollish and annoying over the years, so even though I probably will be keeping my head down as people role play, I will not be trolling anyone and will mostly just be a background character. That said I might end up roleplaying if the mood strikes!)
Job/Profession: A proud Shaman and Healer of the Horde and Orc ambassador to Mulgore. He is also a skilled hunter/trapper/skinner and trades his cured animal hides on the open market.
Physical Description: He is an average sized Orc with dark brownish/green skin and Blue eyes. He has an unbearded face and short black hair.
Personality Description: Saurgon is a very serious and stoic young orc. He is peaceful by nature, and a disciplined Shaman who excels in the healing arts. But he will not back away from a challenge and will fight to the bitter end if need be.
General Notes: Saurgon prefers to spend his time amongst the Tauren, for he sees in them more of a kindred spirit than his oft-times overly bloodthirsty fellow Orcs. However he loves his new racial home of Orgrimmar and returns there frequently when called upon.
Though he doesn't know who his parents were, he theorizes that one of both of them must have not partaken in the consumption of Mannoroth's blood, considering his brownish skin tone and his blue eyes.
History: Saurgon was born shortly after the Orcish defeats of the second war. His parents were either killed or had abandoned him, and he ended up a war orphan being raised in the internment camps. For the most part he had to fend for himself in the camps, as the other prisoners were too lethargic to even pay attention to him. But they did see to it that he was kept fed, and he was periodically told stories by the elders of life on Draenor and the old ways of the Shaman.
When he was 10 years old the Warchief Doomhammer and his Lieutenants Thrall and Grom Hellscream freed the Orcs at his camp. His skin tone and eyes were of note to Thrall, who took the young Orc under his wing. He then began his tutelage in the ways of the Shaman from Thrall and other elder Shaman who had begun to re-claim their abilities to control the elements.
When he was 17, Saurgon joined the war efforts as a full fledged Shaman of Thrall's new Horde during their exodus into the lands of Kalimdor. During much of the war he served under Cairne Bloodhoof and his Tauren, where he gained a healthy respect for Tauren culture and their way of life.
Following the war, Saurgon helped in the Establishment of Orgrimmar as the Orcs new capital. He fought in the war against Daelin Proudmoore, afterwards he chose to return to Mulgore with Cairne and the Tauren. He spent the next several years wandering those fertile lands, hunting and improving his skill at communing with the elements.
At age 22 Saurgon was called on by Thrall to assist the Horde. So he ventured out of Mulgore to help in the stabilization of Horde controlled areas in Durotar, The Barrens, Thousand Needles, and he even spent a bit of time assisting the Orgres of Duskwallow Marsh.
At age 26 he was in Thousand Needles at the time of the Scourge attacks on Orgrimmar. When he heard about it he rushed home to Orgrimmar where he immediately joined in the expedition into Northrend. He extremely disliked the leadership of Garrosh Hellscream, finding him to be little more than a childish fool. He helped to secure Warsong Hold and eventually joined in the Siege on Icecrown Citadel. However he was not present in the front lines during the final battles, instead being stationed in the Hordes rear guard in their triage center.
Current Going-On (if any): Saurgon more or less retired from war following the victory in Northrend and once again began to wander the lands of Mulgore as a traveling healer and trapper.
However news soon reached him that his old mentor and friend Cairne had died by betrayal. Then the Earth began to shake, and cries of war echoed from the peaks of Thunder Bluff...and he finds the elements suddenly uncooperative and violent.

Name: Shyonia Kailasa Blackhoof ("Shy" or "Kai")
Age: Young Adult
Job/Profession: Skinner, Leatherworker, Mother of Dawn Thundermoon, Cook and Matron of the Thundermoon Shu'halo.
General Notes: Her mate is Orahku Duskmane; he, along with Shyonia, is the last of the Blackhoof Creek Tribe which was decimated by Kolkar when Shyonia was just a calf.
Current Going-On (if any): Orahku is her mate. Dawn is her daughter (she is less than a year old).
Name: Candrima Nightwing
Physical Description: Tall and lanky with long blue/black hair & pale blue/violet skin (if you're lucky enough to see her in her humanoid form, or at all for that matter). She is usually in her panther form which is black with dark blue-grey markings, & she is generally stealthed in the wilds of Azeroth.
Personality Description: Extremely independent, shy & reclusive. She stays close to her own kind (druids, mainly Cenarion Circle) unless absolutely necessary & only if her aid is needed. She is passionate about maintaining the balance of nature, only killing under dire circumstances (with the exception of unnatural creatures, demons etc.)
She has no grudge against the Horde per se but activities in Ashenvale & Stonetalon have saddened her greatly, & she will join the fight if she sees any affront to the natural balance. Her anger teeters on the edge; it won't take much more to get her into the war, but she worries that she may lose her own neutrality if she gets caught up in revenge. She's seen others get caught up in it & doesn't wish to become a soldier for the Alliance; she is a Hand of Nature, not politics.
Every death saddens her, even if it is a well-deserved death.
General Notes: Always IC unless whispering; very reclusive & untrusting at first (unless one is a fellow druid or perhaps a shaman... maybe). She doesn't talk much, actions are more her style & she might watch someone from afar if they catch her interest but she will never introduce herself. She's pretty much like the panther form she takes: elusive, solitary & deadly if provoked.
Unusual Notes: Nothing truly unusual about her, except perhaps her slight aversion to humanoids.
Secrets: Her secrets are her own to keep.
History: Candrima was born in Darnassus & sent to be trained as all other young Night Elves are. Her history holds nothing remarkable; happy childhood walking amongst the trees on Teldrassil, her ties to the land & Her creatures are very strong & always have been. No one knows why she went from a dynamic, outgoing child to a recluse in her adolesence & Candrima simply shrugs the question away when asked.
Her parents still dwell in Darnassus & Candrima returns at times to visit them. She has no siblings.
Current Going-On (if any): Exploring the wilds of Feralas & helping to stem the corruption therein.
OOC Notes: Interested in casual rp, & perhaps a fishing buddy (if you can find me). Not interested in the race to 85, raiding, & all that stuff. Very casual player who just plays for fun & sometimes is away for quite a while but always comes back.
11 Gnome Priest
Physical Description: Two feet tall, Silvery hair and whiskers. little potbelly.
Personality Description: Good natured and curious. Loves to explore and discover new things.
History: Was found in infancey by the Night Elves, who took him in and nurtured him. He found peace and strength in the Priesthood. He finds healing far more effective way to cause change than destruction does.
Current Going-On (if any): Has set out on an exploratory mission from The Great Elven City.
He heads now to a place called Darkshore. Word has been sent that help is needed there, and he never turns down a call for help if at all possible...
His journey begins...

Name: Starwynd "Nocturva" Moonclaw
Age: Appears 23 years old when spotted rarely in Night Elf form.
Physical Description: Starwynd is usually only seen in her feral shapeshift forms. Her feral forms look ancient or legendary as they are moderately built bigger than most creatures in the wild with strange inscriptions and symbols on the body. The bear form is built brutish with a lavender-white coat and feathers tied into the mane and bands with feathers along the legs in adornement. As for the cat form that is when she is most comfortable and often found in. Also built bigger than nightstalkers and other druid morphs, it's roots seemed as if tied to an ancient saber, feathers tied into the mane and banded on the legs as well. The feral almost looks very native.
Personality Description: Starwynd is typically a very quiet rogueish type figure. She stalks about the land usually quietly unless something peaks her interest. She seeks companionship but doesn't know how to reach out. She is usually only rarely spotted prowling in the forests. Rarely seen in night elf form.
Unusual Notes: Will sometimes stride into town quietly and slip in to get a drink by herself unnoticed. In night elf form her ears are more cat like as well as having her tail.
Secrets: Wants to be apart of the wild and grow away from both the alliance and the horde.
History: Starywynd is unfamiliar of her past and why she is such an outsider. She is afraid to reach out and is becoming more and more like a beast than anything else.
Current Going-On (if any):
Name: Kelliana Bladesong
Age: Young adult (equivalent of a 25-30 human; I'm thinking 200ish years?)
Job/Profession: Night elf sentinel (warrior)
Physical Description: Standing at an even 6 feet, this female is a bit short for a kal'dorei, but powerfully built through years of training as a fighter. Like any other warrior, her body, where visible, is riddled with battlescars, though there aren't really any unique injuries.
Personality Description: On the good side, she's fiercely loyal, protective, and compassionate. On the bad side, she's brash, prideful, oftentimes close-minded and a borderline alcoholic. Her demeanor is usually very guarded, but relaxes considerably around familiar faces.
General Notes: Trained as a sentinel in Ashenvale, she took her leave to explore the new territories and learn of her people's new allies once the Reign of Chaos ended. She was in Stormwind when Silverwind Refuge fell, and feels guilt for having not been there to this day.
Unusual Notes: The tattoos that surround her eyes are of a pair of feathery wings. The feathers range in color from blood red to forest green to sky blue.
Secrets: Shall remain such.
Current Going-On (if any): Like most others, Kelliana is currently engaged in the frontier on Pandaria. She is planning a return to Ashenvale's defense shortly.
Job/Profession: Mage for Hire
Personality Description: Grumpy.
Current Going-On (if any):
(I just changed from being a troll to a goat and I'm having trouble adapting.)
Name: Lao Weilung
By his own admission, Lao has focused the majority of his life on improving his martial skills, and almost no time at all cultivating friendships. When the Wandering Isle began to drift toward the Maelstrom, Weilung was one of the students called upon by Master Shang Xi to investigate. When it became clear that the great Shen-zin Su had been injured, Lao swore to do whatever he could to help. Although he knew that the Horde's plan to dislodge the Alliance's air-ship was reckless, he had to admit that there was no time to waste trying to think of something better.
Up until this point in his life, Lao had always been a staunch believer in the Tushui philosophy, but this event caused him to realize that sometimes the greatest wrong a man can commit is inaction. Following the removal of the air-ship, and the subsequent healing of the great Shen-zin Su, Lao fell in with Ji Firepaw in his support for the Horde.
Still a believer in the Tushui philosophy, Lao has begun to learn the ways of the Houjin, as well. He now believes not only that discipline is a battle that is constantly fought, but also that one should always question, and always challenge, in pursuit of the greater good.
