Silver Hand Guild Listing

(Sticky)

It is time once again to try and maintain a list of guilds!

Please see the listing here:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/pub?key=0Avjxxir6rygFdHRvWFV1V2REbkV0RWR4WTI0MHBsekE&output=html

(Note that Horde & Alliance guilds are separated in their own sheets. Click the links at the top to switch between the two)

This time, my goal is to try and provide a list for all types of players (RP-oriented, PvE-oriented, PvP-oriented, etc.). The format will be much more simple, and I'll try to keep up-to-date with including links to separate advertising posts.

Please feel free to post a reply and try to include the following information:
  • Any guild website
  • Guild focus (PvE, RP, PvP, Social, Leveling, or any combination on the spreadsheet.)
  • Guild style (Casual, Hardcore, Family-friendly, etc.)
  • Short, 1-2 line blurb to include in the main listing (if a paragraph or so, please consider making a separate recruitment post - I'll link to it)

Remember, if you wish to include a lot of guild info, please consider making a separate recruitment thread (if you don't already have one) and then link to it. I'll include the link in the guild list!

Oh and hi kretol, LMS was Warriors of Virtue once :o

As a note, to go along with the whole theme of 'starting anew,' I won't be porting over any listings from the old forum. There's undoubtedly a lot of non-existent guilds still listed, anyway.

In addition to the Inquisitores, there's still its big brother, the Templares. Same website.

Caelestis Templares - RP
http://www.caelestis-templares.com

Also, imho there should still be an in-listing short description of the guild. I know this was the case last time, although some of those began to push the limits originally set forth. What about having a strict character limit of 240 characters? If it can't fit into a tweet, shorten it.

IF this is adopted, then I submit the following for CT and CI:

CT: Overly zealous Paladin-only guild.
CI: Underground spy & assassin network employed by Caelestis Templares with less class restriction.

Not a bad idear! Either that, or simply limit it to 1-2 lines. I know with the past listing I had some folks include a huge paragraph with information. I mainly intended to just have the section directing people to a post/thread with further information, but if they want to include a short blurb summarizing the guild's purpose... well, I think I've reserved enough posts for the added information. Hehe.

PvE, Social

Raiding, Family Friendly

A fairly laid back guild with an emphasis on raiding. We enjoy good times with friends, experiencing as much content as we can, and long walks on the beach.

PvE, Dude based PvP, ridiculous RP

Awesome Social Club for Gentlepersons

We are not a guild, we are a bunch of dudes. Home to said dudes, and alleged non-dudes.

Guild activities include frantically clawing over each other to get new pets, parading around town in fashionable ways, and frightening small gnomes.

We have a tabard, and sometimes also cookies and other baked goods. Recruitment is restricted to those who manage to trick one of us into inviting you.

Group of bros that did a 10man together. We decided to take it one step farther and make a serious raiding guild for cata, but not everyone has to be serious. As long as you are a bro, come bro it up! Bro.

When I crit things die

Pvp focused PvE on the side

We're the reason gold shire is now considered contested territory and home of a (mostly) invincible team of paladin healers and a beast called hippy and a rogue that went on a killing spree in Dalaran sewer wielding a pair of fish.

we also pull off city raids with less than 25 people.

ANBU

http://forums.ANBUgaming.com

Casual Raid & PvP

ANBU is the World of Warcraft branch of ANBU Gaming, an online Gaming Community & News site. We're starting up a WoW guild since a bunch of us are returning for Cata. Our leaders have had years of successful guild leadership and raiding in vanilla WoW through WotLK. We're looking to fill out two 10 man raiding teams to start. We're a very casual, laid back, but goal orientated guild. The ANBUgaming community is focused around playing and discussing a wide array of video games across all platforms. If you're feeling brave, all members have access to post news, articles, and reviews to the main site.

If you enjoy WoW & Gaming in general and we sound like a good fit, join up. We're just getting started, so if you're looking to join a guild and quickly build veteran or officer status, this is the place to start!
