Switching to holy, need advice!

I have been tanking since BC and when cata comes out and since we have an over abundance of tanks in my current guild, i am switching to holy. I have a few question because i havent really seen a guild for holy post 4.0.

1) Gemming, Chants and Reforging ( What to use?) I know i was using +int gems and chants back before 4.0 is this still the case?
2) Talent Tree - What is the "cookie cutter" spec, or the most recognized holy spec?

This stuff will give me a base of what i am looking for, we dont start raiding again til a week after cata hit and i wanna run some heroics to make sure i have a grip on what is going on before then. If anyone can help or direct me to a post that has this info in it i would be greatful.

Thank You,
Dark

Short Version:
Gem Int, Int/haste and Int/Spirit hybrids for socket bonuses. Reforge crit into spirit or haste. Get a comfortable level of spirit b4 getting haste. Don't go too far beyond 1019 haste.

Use the old enchants.

Use this spec and these glyphs:

Are there any guidelines for which socket bonuses are worth taking and which aren't?

@Flomotion
I get all of them. Haste and Spirit are never bad. Spell Power is never bad. Intellect doesn't outstrip these other stats enough that it's worth skipping socket bonuses. Don't go beyond 1019 haste though, because then you are wasting haste.

@Darkmanning
And this is when I turn into a flake and don't follow my own advice.

This really depends on your playstyle and the fights you are working on. My gear is pretty good, and I've gotten to the point where I'm comfortable managing my mana. So I GCD haste cap then turned everything else into spirit :P This isn't recommended for everyone.

Playstyle is the single greatest factor in determining how much mana you spend. When 4.0.1 first hit, I actually dumped all my spirit into mastery, and I didn't OOM at all when I went into ICC. And then I pulled LK and cried.

So "comfortable level of regen" is a bit of a cop out, but it is accurate. If you want to play it safe, gem to get socket bonuses and reforge your excess crit (beyond 30% raid buffed) into spirit. If you find yourself with lots of mana at the end of boss fights, change it back to haste.
