Topic Centralized FeatherMoon Guild Thread
For people who want to join (or recruit) without having to scan forever.
If you have a guild that is recruiting, please post --
Name of Guild
PVP/PVE/RP/Alt Support/Farming/whatever other things your guild primarily does.
An in-game contact! (If other than the poster)
Approximate number and level range of members
Whether there are any class/race/level/gender/naming/RP restrictions, etc.
Any regularly scheduled events (raids, RP sessions, contests, trade moots, etc)
Guild structure -- ranks and what's required to get them, etc
Web presence, with links if possible
Resources such as guild banks with what tabs
Incentives to join such as mounts and pets (bad plan if you ask me, but people do it)
Description of the general purpose, mood, theme, and anything else useful.
This will help people on Feathermoon find guilds, and will help the guilds find people.
If you are a player wanting to join a guild, then please make sure you state your wants/needs similarly:
PVP/PVE/RP/Alt Support/Farming/whatever other things you want a guild to do
Please post AS THE SEEKING CHARACTER, so potential recruiters can get the name right and see your professions, level, class, race, proper name spelling, etc.
Any regularly scheduled events you want (raids, RP sessions, contests, trade moots, etc)
Availability for helping out with cash to the guild bank, resources and trade skills, time to help new characters, etc.
Description of the desired purpose, mood, theme, and anything else useful.
I am currently a member of Ravens Gate. We are not actively seeking members, but our profile would look like this:
We are a mutual support guild consisting mostly of family and friends who actually know each other in RL. We have no significant concentration on PVP, Raids, or anything else other than helping each other out when we see each other on.
If you really want to join the guild, contact me, or RowanRaven, the GuildMistress.
It's a small guild with members all across the level, race, and class spectrum, mostly alts of the main members.
There are no member restrictions other than "good behavior" as determined by the consensus of senior members.
Few scheduled events, though we keep trying.
We almost all know each other personally, so most members are veterans, and officers are typically family.
No web presence.
We have a guild bank with 4 tabs.
We mostly just ask each other about our personal lives in the guild channel. =o)
Yes, I know that sounds lame, but we really aren't recruiting.
Considering joining another guild with this character or Santori, a mid-60's prot/holy pally.
Would like to find a group with enough members that someone is usually on. Ideally, seeking a RP/Questing/PVP/Alt Support/Farming guild. My current guild is great, but has few people, and they aren't very RP oriented.
I can't commit to regularly scheduled events :( but am always willing to help others in the group with anything I can, as long as they aren't taking unfair advantage of my limited time. For example, I'll happily generate potions for free, but if I have to spend a couple of hours farming herbs, I'd appreciate the same time in return on something of value to me.
I mostly would like to have groups to game with in-character who aren't going to make me sit around and wait for an hour to run some particular dungeon for the boots they want (though I'm happy to join, please don't summon me and then make me twiddle my thumbs), or leave as soon as their quests are finished.
I'd love to start a group if enough people want, but this isn't just about me. :)

The Prophecy of Light
A Sin'dorei only Heavy RP Guild.
Since its inception just prior to the alliance of the Sin’dorei to the Horde, the Prophecy of Light has become one of Silvermoon’s highest-performing Blood Knight Orders in spite of repeated public reprimands and violations both administrative and civil in nature.
Under the stern authority of Lamis Dal’Theron, the relatively tiny order soon swelled its ranks with Blood Knights deemed in need of remedial training and discipline. Originally intended as a ‘halfway house’ for trainees in danger of being removed entirely from the program, it developed a reputation for turning even the most dysfunctional recruits into formidable Light-wielders and martial experts.
Since Master Dal’Theron fell victim to the Scourge Invasion, Keltyr Sunsworn has headed the PoL, leading the Order to victories first in Outland, then in Northrend and Icecrown.
In spite of its troubles, the Order continues to surpass all expectations, spearheading some of the Horde’s most ambitious assaults.
Details: While the Prophecy of Light is focused around a military order, any good fighting force needs support personnel. We accept any one willing to get involved in RP. If you are interested, I suggest approaching Keltyr or Dorritow through in character means.
Other things of interest: We do not have any set raids as a guild. We are part of a non-guild raid called The Anvil. Being part of the guild does not mean an instant invite into the raid. However, we will do things for Guild Achievements.
We have close in character ties with Noxilte (who is our considered our parent guild), Thundering Hammer Clan, Orgu Feray and Wolfsong.
Full on Rogues
• We are a guild primarily interested in retaining smart-mouthed perverts with unjustifiably smug attitudes.
• Please don't contact us in-game unless you're other side of the pillow and we already know you.
• We're mostly all max level and most have been max level every expansion.
• Rogues and people with rogue-like names are not welcome unless you're other side of the pillow and we already know you.
• We have hosted a variety of raids that don't require membership in the guild.
• The structure primarily revolves around an officer class and the Guildmaster repeatedly kicking people from guild and then sometimes reinviting them.
• There is a website.
• Our bank is overstocked.
• There is no incentive to join.
• Imagine if the movie, Tropic Thunder, was a guild.

The Cartographic Society
Horde RP Guild (Not actively recruiting, but will accept new members.)
Contact any member and ask for Mace.
Fourteen separate accounts...eighty-five characters. Yes, we're all alt-o-holics. All levels are welcome.
All guild members must roleplay (actively is preferred) and must be over 18.
RP events tend to be organized loosely and at random, rather than organized.
All members start at Initiate level and are promoted once they've proven their willingness and capability as roleplayers. A description of the character background is required during the interview.
Six tab bank, including one devoted entirely to RP items.
The only incentive to join is the ability to find other roleplayers more easily.
The Cartographic Society was founded (ICly) by a Quel'dorei of the name of Arowei Des'dun. Being sickly, he was unable to adventure and so he gathered a group of more hearty men and women to travel for him, making maps and taking notes of interesting sights. He had a friend craft devices for each of them that allowed them to speak over the distances and keep contact with one another. The information that they found was returned to Arowei, who locked it away in scores of books for future generations to make use of.
Upon the destruction of Silvermoon City by the Scourge, Arowei and his dream of having the entire world catalogued died.
When Arowei was freed from the grip of the Lich King he discovered a very different world than the one that he remembered last. The Quel'dorei had become Sindorei and joined forces with the Horde. The friends that had once held the boxes were mostly dead, but the boxes were not silent. They had been found and made use of by members of the Horde, a rag-tag bunch, connected only by their voices over the mechanisms.
Arowei made no attempt to organize them, but one of the members, a tauren by the name of Tufak Stonewater, loosely did so when the troubles with the elements rose, asking members to work to find the source of the disruptions and put an end to them. Now, with Deathwing's return, he asks those that have survived the sundering of the world to work to make new maps and guides to those traveling in the dangerous new world.

Crown of the Earth
Alliance RP (Not actively recruiting, but will accept new members.)
Contact any member and ask for Mace.
I...have no clue how many members are in CotE. I will say that most of us are on Horde side generally, so the guild doesn't get much attention.
All members must actively RP and be over the age of 18.
No regularly scheduled events.
All members start as Initiate and are promoted after face to face RP interaction.
Uses same site as TCS.
Single tab guild bank, not much in there.
Crown of the Earth is run by Slyien and...well...it's mostly made up of young druids that he and Adnox are helping to train. There's one shaman as well that is trying to learn more of the Druidic arts and also a worgen warrior (well, she'll join later) that wants to learn how to control her feral nature.
It'd be good if all you guys advertised yourselves here @ www.feathermoon.org/forums.
Please sign up with your character name, or any login, and go to User CP to change your display name. The guild section is a little ways down the Forum index. :)
Trying a new Alliance RP guild. Called it LightWardens. I need good RP people to help build it up. In general, anyone is welcome; I just want folk to stay basically in character on the public channels (/s & /y, etc). If I can build up a few folk, we can arrange scheduled events. I would LOVE to run some heroics in character, with plot line. :D
I hope to have ranks and a big guild bank with many tabs, though that's going to take a while. For now I still need signatures, so if someone wants to discuss better names I'm game.
Alright, got it running. Now all we need are some members, lol....
This is primarily a RolePlaying guild, meaning characters should stay in character in the public channels. If you follow the official rules for an RP server, you're good. It will hopefully allow people to accumulate contacts to RP and provide context for roleplay. It is also a levelling guild, so new toons are welcome. What's a more fun way to level faster than to have a group of non-idiots handy to hang out with?
Sylvanda is currently the primary contact. You can also talk to Luxina until the wife gets her alts organized.
There are no restrictions on age, race, class, level, gender... All we ask is that you play in character, and that you play as a team. If what you want is to run through dungeons at sprint speed, this might not be the group for you. If you actually think it could be fun to discuss valid game tactics in character and implement them strategically, it probably is.
Would love to get people in to schedule events, but membership is too low right now.
Ranks in the guild are based on my whim until I get a few more people in it, but should eventually be based on contribution. That includes time spent helping other members, or gear and money contributed to the guild bank that noobs can use for upgrades, grinding, and repairs. The other major considerations for officers will be that they are good RP examples. We don't want people in an RP guild to EVER be seen on the street talking in the public channel about "my other toon", but in particular it looks bad when it's the officers.
I haven't set up the website yet, but it should include email addresses for the members, a bulletin board, maybe pages for the members if there is a demand for it.
Guild bank already has two tabs, hoping to add more soon. Access increases with rank, though higher ranks are expected to contribute more as well.
Incentives to join mainly include good company, but lowbies (especially if they have no higher level characters to twink them) will benefit a lot from being able to make small withdrawals. One of the main points of the guild is to get foster-twinks.
Hoping to keep the whole concept as in-character as possible. Will likely assign "missions" to volunteers, much like quests. I want the effect to be a little like SI:7, but with a bit more conversation.

-We are a social guild that focuses on enjoying the game together through our 10 man raids, leveling, instances, etc.
-Contact either Freek (our GM), myself, Lado, Ikei, Duvac or Gelivare.
-We have -well- over 250 members all ranging from level 1 to 80 with experiences from new player to hardcore raiders.
-We have very little restrictions, mostly we look for mature players and as guild chat can be colorful from time to time, we do tend to shy away from young players.
-We have scheduled raids and frequently try to put together other random events such as old school raids, contests, etc.
-All new members start off as a Squire and are then on a trial period. After the trial period is over they will be promoted to Soldier. Anything higher than that rank is dependant on the individual and are gone over in detail in our guild charter on our website.
-We do have a guild website where all interested parties should read our charter and apply: www.damage-incorporated.net
-We do have a full guild bank with 6 tabs.
-We don't really have incentives to join except the company of a bunch of great people, a great atmosphere and a good place to be able to enjoy the game for what its worth.
-We do tend to joke and poke fun at each other on a regular basis, so if you can't take that with a grain of salt, then you probably won't enjoy the company. If you're all about joking around and enjoying a relaxed, casual atmosphere then chances are you'll have fun with us.
- A mature, social guild with a focus on just having a good time while playing the game
- Contact myself, Snappa, or Doompillow
- We are a small guild but we are looking to expand
- There are no restrictions. All we ask is that you are mature and don't bring drama to our table.
- Once our number increase we will be having scheduled raids and dungeon runs
- New members will start as "Cannon Fodder" and after showing their commitment to the guild they will be promoted to "Member". Further promotions are based on the level of commitment to the guild. The more you put into it, the more you will get out of it.
- Our website is checked often but using the website is not mandatory. www.feathermoonfate.guildportal.com
- We have a guild bank with 4 tabs
- There are no incentives to join
- We understand you have a life outside of World of Warcraft and we won't hold that against you. Come and go as you please and enjoy yourself!
