That is the entire point of what they are doing with health pools in cata. There won't be any spell you can cast which will fill up a health bar. I don't understand how people are complaining about the holy shock nerf. It is still ridiculously good. It is probably the best heal in the game, speaking from a pvp standpoint at least. I'm not sure where you can find fault with it on the pve side either.

You are not getting what I'm saying. At 80 HS is op because of the very fact that it can bring your entire health bar back up so quickly. At 85, that is NOT the case. It's is simply not going to fill that 100k+ health pool back up. It did not need a nerf.

It was healing for more than they wanted it to, even with the buffed health pools. Line it up against comparable heals (penance, swiftmend, riptide), and tell me it isn't easily better than all of them. I've got all 4 healers at 80 right now, and I'll tell you, pallies really shouldn't be complaining about anything right now. Just sit there quietly with a smile on your face.

Holy Shock and Holy light go together like peanut butter and jelly if you have the 4 piece lightsworn set bonus. The set bonus makes the holy light after a holy shock almost instantaneous! I raid in heal using 4 pieces of lightsworn even though I have two or three pieces of 264 healing plate that aren't a part of the set. I get about 5 K just from holy shock without even considering that the beacon gets half, the holy power or the bonus healing I may get from one of my trinkets. That's still a useful heal. It's fast and cheap. I certainly don't feel horibly wronged by the change
