Because a Paladin's true love is in their hair and because I didn't expect to cap the Libram and a Love is in the Air/Valentines Day reference was the best I could come up with in a few minutes. If you have a better title I'm all ears.
Also restored the artwork Lobs removed, couldn't let Bunny Chaz be lost forever could we? Unless anyone has any great objections, then I'll change it back.

Don't know if the artwork update was discussed already.
This one took me by surprise, official artwork of human women as paladins isn't that common, most of the time I've just seen men, draenei less commonly, or blood elves. The glowing eyes are neat also, especially considering the in-game icon of Divine Favor.
The Season version of Lightbringer being shown is pretty cool, too.
Hopefully I'll finally be able to get my paladin here into a raiding group, just joined a new guild (again) that's recruiting for a second team.

As much as I say to myself that paladin has become stale for me, I keep coming back after playing my other characters. I've been trying to convince myself to play my monk but...I think I'm really stuck with my pally for better or worse.
Seriously! I live in SoCal (LA area) and it's been raining off and on all week. I'm getting sun withdrawals.
I want that armor...
@Arthinas: WHEN does your sidestory thingy take place? Because that will probably affect how some paladin characters are portrayed.
It was originally planned to be prior to Pandaria. However, due to my life events (as you're aware), I ended up being rather busy, and combined with a HD crash that lost my file (thankfully I had most of the story in the posted thread, but I lost my outline and my character sketches/bios... :( ), I ended up not being able to work on it and lost a lot of interest in doing so, then was ridiculously busy between basic and moving and working.
Of course, recently my interest has been rekindled and I want to finish it. The timeline, strictly speaking, is in no particularly required place. I make some passing references to Wrath and Cata (Proudclaw's vision where he can no longer Powershift, the defeat of the Lich King in Northrend and the Cataclysm/Deathwing's defeat.) But there's no super defined place. It could just as easily be after the Isle of Thunder event or after the Siege of Orgrimmar without any major issue.
...in fact, in the most recent part, I passingly reference the SoO (that the Alliance adventurers coming and the Horde that are present are exhausted from the war and so aren't really too interested in starting fights in Silvermoon.)
When I started writing it, I had three intentions:
1) The BEs' "newest" lore at the time was "In the Shadow of the Sun", which takes place BEFORE Wrath. I wanted to give the BEs and Lor'Themar something new in terms of lore. And cleansing the Dead Scar from Silvermoon/Eversong/Ghostlands seemed a worthy endeavor.
2) After a thread asking about representative heroes from different classes, it was discovered that Warlocks actually have none (all their "heroes" are actually villains), so I wanted to write a story of a chaotic/non-sane hero Warlock. I also felt I could put in some fun pokes towards an eventual return of the Legion/"Horde+Alliance assault on Argus.
3) I wanted to do some Paladiny loreish, and to give cameos to my friends here in the Libram. What you can do with art (that I cannot), I wanted to try doing with wordsmithing.
...as such, the exact point in time isn't necessarily precise. An amusing note is that I even was writing it in such a way that if ever Bliz does a pre-expansion event for "WoW: Invasion of Argus" or "Vengeance of the Void", they could (they won't, I have no delusions here, but they COULD) use it as a template for a said pre-expansion event.
Especially given the ending, which is...huh, now that I think of it, is kind of like this one event that happens in the Wheel of Time...
But yeah, timeline can be any point AFTER Deathwing's death, but PRIOR TO any cleansing of the Dead Scar/invasion of Argus/return of the Burning Legion.
So...in other words, right now in the timeline. :) I could even make note of Lor'Themar returning from Pandaria/Orgrimmar's siege.
Oh cool. I sometimes live in San Diego. ^_^ I have a friend that goes to Irvine (working on his PhD there in Physics.)
Also: This just amuses me:
A huge, three way battle breaks out between the Burning Legion, Azeroth’s defenders from the Alliance AND Horde, and the Dead Scar’s feral Undead who attack EVERYTHING.
The enemy of my enemy IS MY ENEMY!!
EDIT: Reminds me of a certain Zombie Invasion... I can just picture giant undead swarming on Dreadlords. XD Epic...

The undead invasion was alot of fun. And not just the player infection, but the scourge spawn points as well.
I hope they do something similar with orc bases for the WoD event. Although I do have to wonder how the Iron Horde is supposed to attack both continents. Seems like an invading force pouring out of the dark portal is poised to hit Stormwind and Ironforge first and foremost.
EDIT: Yes, yes, I did it.
...now to see if anyone actually gives feedback on any of it...

By the Light Art two pages of nothing but story, it must have grown a good bit longer since I read it last. The length may intimidate those forums. lol
At least it's all in one place now.
The forums have been in one state of broken or another ever since the old ones were closed and these new ones were opened.
They certainly aren't going to fix the things their "upgrade" broke on this horribly maintained site.

Seems like they're making tweeks. The class buttons aren't stupidly huge. But the realm lists are still in dire need of a drop-down menu.
*Zvezda Plot is definitely the surprise hit of the season. For something so silly and lighthearted, it's pretty !@#$ing epic.
