will the cost of a level 90 character boost ever drop from $60? it seems way too much for just 1 boost which most people wont have the money for.

Faction changes are $30. Why would a 90 of any class/race you want with a full set of gear be anywhere near or under that price.

I agree with 1-90 Costing $60.. If it also included professions. I also believe it should scale. IE 85-90 shouldn't also cost $60.

Nah they added the vet perk for toons 60+ if you're already 85-90 this service isnt for you on that toon, just grind out the last 3-4 levels or w/e.

The price is fine. If you can't afford it don't buy it - you're not entitled to it.

"Come on Ferrari!!! Most people can't afford over $250,000 for a car!! You need to lower your prices so more people can buy your cars!!!"

If you are over 18 and cant afford 60 dollars, stop playing wow and figure out a way to get more disposable income.

It is too much.

$60 is too much for 1-90 without professions.
$60 is too much for 60-90 with max professions.

$60 is about right for 1-90 with max professions.

They occasionally (like once in five years) have sales on character services. I wouldn't hold my breath for one, but there could be one a long, long time from now (say, the week before $60 level 100s go in).

^this. I don't want to boost a toon at lvl 1 bc I won't get max professions. But once I lvl a toon to 60, it seems like a waste to use the boost on it

May I just also say, that if $60 is the correct value for a 90, then why wasn't the expansion $100?

The steep price is intended as a deterrent for abuse and to keep some kind of value for traditional levelling.

Blizzard themselve said it would be much more lucrative from a business standpoint to lower the cost but they prefer not doing it.

Because I'm not paying $100 for what should have been an optional feature?

I hope that they BOOST the price and also add in a restriction for what new 90's can do when/if boosted.

i.e., can't enter LFR or normal/heroic 90 raids for 2 weeks after the boost.

Thats exactly what I'm saying. I would pay $60 a pop if I got 600 professions.

Leveling to 60 is nothing, leveling from 60 to 90 is substantially more time consuming, plus you can save thousands of gold from the cost of leveling professions to max.

Personally I think it is a much better investment to boost a lvl 60 character then a lvl 1.

As a price point it's too high. I'd consider spending $4.99 for a boost but $60 is beyond what I'm willing to spend. Then again I have 13 level 90s so far and I don't really need a boost.
