I've heard rumblings that Druids attempting to off-spec heal in low level instances are having a bear (*rimshot*) of a time with it despite having Int gear. Understandable since Nourish comes at 78. I have quite a bit of experience healing as a Druid at 80, but this is my first priest.
I haven't done any instances with her yet because, honestly, I'm just leveling too fast as it is, but I finally saw the light (Vuhdo), and I'm itching to try it out, but I'm apprehensive that all the kinks haven't been worked out yet, with spell scaling, mana regen changes, talent tree 'boons', etc.
Anyone have any experience post-4.0.3?
Took the plunge and answered my own question :-D Zero deaths, nobody below 50%, and my mana stayed nice and strong with proper heal management. Maybe it was because our tank was a Paladin who obviously knew what he was doing, but that was a lot easier than when I was learning to heal as a druid back-in-the-day >_>
I hope it stays this easy (Even if I have to dual-spec at some point)
On a sidenote, Vuhdo rocks. I just need to figure out how to get it to auto-add escorts and I'll be set.
I haven't had any trouble, except in SFK with a couple groups who kept getting cleaved.
