My husband recently did a referral for a new account and we started playing while i was using the 10 day free trial of the game and the bonuses of the referral summoning and exp, but even though he went and purchased a copy of world of warcraft and upgraded my account, i still cannot join a guild, trade, or do anything that a normal account gets to do. I even have setup a recurring payment period with you (blizzard) and have checked and the money was taken out of our account, but yet I still do not have full access to the game.... please help me....

It can take up to 72 hours for an account to fully upgrade and have all restrictions lifted.

This is true, and this upgrade only looks to be a very few hours old. The leveling cap should be instantly removed, but some of the other features will take time to unlock.
