I think we can all agree that the goblin and Worgen racials (to a lesser extent) are amazing. Fun, rarely situational, and now too overpowered. However, the other races are lagging behind. Their racials are less awesome. So here are a few ideas for a racial update. Feel free to leave feedback.
Orc- They need a utility racial on the level of diplomacy or a profession racial. Yet orcs neither excel at any profession nor are they adept at politics. However, they do embrace battle.
*new Racial* Honour Through Battle: Increases your honor gain by 10%
Troll- Regeneration needs an update. It currently is outdated and useless
Regeneration: No longer increases health regeneration. Now increases the amount of healing you receive by 5%
Tauren Minor changes
Warstomp: can now be used in bear and cat forms. Now Instant
Endurance: Now increases total health by 3%.
Forsaken need a PVE racial.
Will of the Forsaken (renamed “Mental resistance”): Now a passive trait that reduces the duration of fear and charm effects by 10%.
Underwater breathing: Removed
Will of the Forsaken (caster): Reduces the mana cost of all spells by 50% for 10 seconds. 2 minute Cool down
Will of the Forsaken (Rogue): Reduces the energy cost of all abilities by 10. Lasts 10 seconds. 2 minute Cool down.
Will of the Forsaken (Warrior): Reduces the rage cost of all abilities by 10. Lasts 10 seconds. 2 minute Cool down.
Will of the Forsaken (Hunter): Reduces the Focus cost of all abilities by 10. Lasts 10 seconds. 2 minute Cool down.
Will of the Forsaken (Death Knight): Reduces the Runic Power cost of all abilities by 10. Lasts 10 seconds. 2 minute Cool down.
Blood Elf Need an additional racial trait
*New Racial*Grace of the Sin’dorei: Increases movement speed by 8%. Does not stack with similar effects (other than Inner Will). (basically a boot enchant)
Arcane Affinity: In addition to increasing your skill with enchanting, this trait now also grants a chance to receive additional materials when disenchanting an item.
Goblin- Just made a quality of life change
Better living through Chemistry: In addition to increasing your skill with alchemy by 15, this trait now also increases the effect of healing and mana potions on the player by 20%. Does not stack with similar effects (Basically a less powerful alchemist stone, meaning the player gets half the effect without equipping the trinket)
Human- Every one can agree that EMFHS needs to go
Every Man for Himself Removed
*New Racial* Endless Ambition: Increases your Mastery Rating by 900(At lvl 85, scales with level. This would be roughly a 5% increase) for 15 seconds. 2 minute Cool down (Works similar to http://www.wowhead.com/item=56458)
Dwarf- Stone form needed to be made more powerful/useful beyond clearing diseases and poisons
Stoneform: No longer increases armor when activated, instead reduces the physical damage you take by 10% when active in addition to clearing Diseases, Poisons and bleed effects. Now lasts 10 seconds.
Gnome- Quality of life change
Engineering Specialization: In addition to increasing your skill with engineering by 15, now reduces the cool down of your glove mounted tinkers by 20%
Night Elf- Really needed no changes...
Draenei- Quality of life change
Gem Cutting: In addition to increasing your skill with Jewel Crafting by 10, this trait now also grants you a chance to additional gems when prospecting
Worgen- buffed their active racial to be on the level of the goblin one.
Darkflight: Cool down reduced to 2 minutes
