So I just hit the level cap last night at 11:00, and this afternoon I decided to start my first cata dungeons. I'm having a ton of difficulty so far, and I go OOM on every single pull. I'm assuming this is way out of the normal and I'm wondering what I'm doing wrong. Healing mechanics have obviously changed quite a bit, and my gear definitely isnt fantastic. I'm making this thread to find out what I'm doing so horribly wrong
First, before you read this, if you're going to give me the classic "you just suck, thats the problem" response, that's fine, just make sure to justify it with reasoning so I can get better.
Divine Light is what I'm using right now for my main healing ability, I use HS (when its feasible) to stack healing power so I can use the cone heal and WOG. But I can only cast so many heals with DL before I'm totally oom. I'm assuming either my gearing is horribly off or I'm majorly effing up class healing mechanics.
So my request is for people to volunteer their rotation/approach to paladin healing at the moment, and I'm also putting this out there to see if I'm the only one having so much difficulty healing. I just got kicked from a group because we wiped once, and that's the first time that's ever happened to me in six years of playing.
Also, on a side note, I've only run two dungeons so far in the /lfg system, and one disbanded after the first wipe and the other wiped two bosses in and then kicked me. In both groups no cc was used and it was all melee dps.
